How to Become a Thief

A thief or thief cannot become a thief if they don't have the skills to steal something from the enemy. This allows them to easily collect various items and make money.

• Go to the pyramid that is northwest of Morroc.
• When you arrive at the pyramid, enter and then head towards the middle of the map to the Thief Guild.
• While inside the Thief Guild, head down the hall below and head through the gate on the left. Here you will see two NPCs who will guide you to complete the quest.
• Talk to the NPC closest to the portal. He will ask you a few questions and tell you to look for the "Irrelevant Man" who is outside the Pyramid to steal the mushrooms from the nearby mushroom farm.
• While at the farm, kill the mushrooms and pick up the fallen ones.
• There are aggressive rangers protecting the farm so you should try to stay away from them and focus on collecting mushrooms which is equal to 25 points.
• After collecting the mushrooms, head back to the Thief Guild.
• Talk to the NPC farthest from the portal. He will count the mushrooms you brought and if the points are enough, the NPC will promote you to a Thief.

From job level 40 to 50, thieves will be given the chance to try their hand at joining the Assassins or plotting more crimes as a Rogue.

Ragnarok Thief Skills

What skills does a Thief have? They have a total of 6 skills with different uses.

• Detoxify – Heals poisoned players or other targets
• Double Attack – Gives a higher chance to deal double damage when attacking with a sword
• Envenom – A melee attack with poison elements that gives additional damage up to 150 and has a chance to poison .
• Hiding – Hiding for self-defence. This skill doesn't work against Boss, Insect and Demon. Can be countered with AoE skills and items
• Improve Dodge – Adds 30 points to Flee. Bonuses will be given if you have become a Rogue or Assassin. It also increases your character's Movement Speed if you are an Assassin
• Steal – Steals items from monsters

Thief Leveling Method (ROCLASSIC GUIDE)

Well, now we have come to the main discussion of this article. How is the Thief Ragnarok classic leveling guide?

While still at level 1 – 15, you only need to return to Pyramid level 1 and defeat some monsters such as Spores, Familiars, and Poporings until you get around 220 HP.

You can also go to Alberta where there are lots of Eggyras to the north, Wolves to the west, and Spores to the south.

For stronger monsters, you can find Greatest General, Horong, Poison Spores and Eggyras in the northeast.

These monsters were all in the top 50 job XP list. Here you will get a wind arrow and can kill Spores faster with just 3 sword slashes.

Alternatively, you can use Catherina Von Blood to quickly raise your level on the Sunken Ship. Go talk to Fisk and pay him 250z so you can go to the Sunken Ship.

As a Thief, you may need a Marine Sphere Card to use Magnum Break because you don't have AoE skills.
