Hi Vicigers! Not even one year since the launch of the Poco F2 Pro, now we are again presented with the newest F series smartphone from Poco, namely the Poco F3.

The beginning of this year seems to be heaven for you Android smartphone lovers. Not without reason, but because at the beginning of 2021, lots of big global brands released their new series of smartphones, from the segment low-end until high end.

8 Things You Must Know About Poco F3

This time we will discuss 8 things that you must know about the new Poco F3 smartphone. Immediately, we start from the first

1. Body

Source: GSMArena

Having a body design that is very different from its younger brother Poco F2 Pro, now the Poco F3 has a design whose concept is similar to the Mi 11, but with some differences, of course.

If we take a quick look at the picture above, it seems that the blue variant has a slightly different backdoor design than the other two colors, black and white.

FYI, the Poco F2 Pro and Poco F3 are both protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 on the backdoor, but the difference is in the frame, the Poco F2 Pro is covered in an aluminum frame, while the Poco F3 is wrapped in a plastic frame.

Maybe this was done by Xiaomi to cut the weight to be lighter than its younger brother Poco F2 Pro, now the Poco F3 only weighs 196 grams, lighter than the Poco F2 Pro which weighs 219 grams.

2. Screen

Poco F3 still carries an AMOLED screen from Samsung, just like its younger sibling, but now with an increase in screen brightness up to 1300 nits.

The screen size has not changed from the previous series, which is 6.67 inches, but with a ratio screen to body different. This happens because the Poco F3 no longer uses a pop-up front camera like the Poco F2 Pro, but instead places a front camera that has been trimmed in diameter on the screen, like most Android cellphones.

In matters of screen protection, Xiaomi also still entrusts the Gorilla Glass 5 glass screen from Corning to be embedded in this cellphone. It's a slight decrease if we look at it from the side of the Poco X3 Pro which already uses Gorilla Glass 6.

Don't forget, this cellphone is also equipped with HDR10 + screen specifications, 120Hz refresh rate, FullHD + with a 20: 9 ratio.

3. Processor

Snapdragon 870 by Qualcomm

Just like the Poco X3 Pro which has the title of the first HP Poco/Xiaomi to use the Snapdragon 860 processor. The Poco F3 also bears the title, Poco's first HP to use the Snapdragon 870 processor.

But the Poco F3 is not the first to use the Snapdragon 870 processor, it turns out that on the mainland there is the Xiaomi Mi 10S series which used this processor first.

If Poco F3 officially enters Indonesia, I think Poco must be ready to face the Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro which also use the same processor.

Fortunately, the Oppo Find X3 variant that officially entered Indonesia was only the Find X3 Pro variant which uses the Snapdragon 888 processor, not the usual Find X3 which also uses the Snapdragon 870. So the list of competitors in the Indonesian market for April is still relatively small.

Hopefully, the Poco F3 Pro will officially launch at the same time as the launch of the Poco X3 Pro. The problem is that until now, there have been no convincing signs that Xiaomi will bring this series officially to Indonesia.

Oh, the Snapdragon 870 processor also supports the 5G network, so this cellphone officially enters Indonesia. Hopefully this cellphone can become your daily driver, while you wait for the 5G network to launch in Indonesia. When is it? You know.

In essence, yes, you all know how the performance of the Snapdragon 8 series processor, especially the 870, is. A series of processors that are designed to accompany flagship HP, especially the Snapdragon 870 is the latest processor for the 8 series in 2021 created by Qualcomm, even though its performance is still below the Snapdragon 888, but all the heaviest mobile games to date, guarantee it can be even!
