MLBB President's Cup Main Event Schedule and Format
Based on the schedule that has been available through website Officially the President's Cup, the MLBB Main Event will be held from 9 to 13 November 2022.
During this time interval, there will be a group stage or group stage which divides the 12 teams into two groups, each group containing six teams.
The group stage format is Bo2 or Best of 2. So, there is a chance for a match to result in a draw.
A team will get 3 points if they win the match with a score of 2-0. If the match is tied, then both teams will get 1 point. If a team loses, they will not get any points.
The results of the group stage will determine who will qualify for the playoffs. Teams that manage to place in the top four of each group will qualify for the playoffs.
The format of the playoffs is similar to other tournaments. Every game is bo3 and the grand final is bo5.
The 2022 MLBB President's Cup Playoffs use a single elimination format which means there is no upper and lower bracket.

MLBB President's Cup Main Event Team
To play in the Main Event match, a team must pass the regional qualifier, closed qualifier, or open qualifier.
Currently, there are two slots filled from the East Regional qualifiers, namely the CO2Z Esports and Warehouse 3 AM teams.
After that, two slots from the West Regional have also been filled. Two teams from West Regional are Bigetron Beta and Tiger Wong Esports.
Closed Qualification or Closed Qualifier is a special qualification for teams invited by the organizer. There were eight teams invited and only six could advance to the Main Event.
The teams that made it through the Closed Qualifier were Alter Ego, Rebellion Zion, Bigetron Alpha, Geek Fam Indonesia, EVOS Legends, and the last one is RRQ Hoshi.

Open Qualifiers
The Open Qualifier is currently ongoing. Starting from October 10, 2048 teams competed to be the best and try to qualify for the 2022 MLBB President's Cup Main Event.
The Final Open Qualifier will be held from October 24 to 25. Of the 2048 teams, there are only two teams that can have a slot to go to the Main Event.

Closed Qualifiers
Similar to the Open Qualifier, the Closed Qualifier is also ongoing. There were eight teams invited by the organizer and all the teams invited were the well-known Mobile Legends esports team.
The format of the Open Qualifier is Single Elimination and all matches are Bo3 or Best of 3 matches.
The top six tips will get a slot to play in the Main Event match. The team that has already passed is Alter egos, Rebellion Zion, Bigetron Alpha, Geek Fam Indonesia, EVOS Legends, and the last one that just passed is RRQ Hoshi.
However, the Closed Qualifier is not over yet. There is still an Upper Bracket Final which contains a match between Rebellion Zion and Geek Fam Indonesia on October 16 2022.
After that, there is also the Lower Bracket Quarter Final which contains matches between Alter Ego vs EVOS Legends and Bigetron Alpha vs RRQ Hoshi on the same date, October 16, 2022.
