Persona 6: Release Date, Platforms, Price & Coming Features

Seeing the success achieved by Persona 5, making the latest series highly anticipated by gamers around the world.

Until now, there is still little information available about the Persona 6 game. However, one rumor suggests that the game will likely have two protagonists.

Persona 6 has not been officially confirmed for release. However, series producer Kazuhisa Wada stated in a 2018 interview before the release of Dancing in Moonlight and Dancing in Starlight that:

“We are working on mid- to long-term plans, including new numbered entries, so that fans can continue to enjoy the Persona series starting next year.”

From the above statement, there is a possibility that the Persona 6 release date could be sooner than we think considering Studio Zero, which consists of most of the team developers Persona, will not be making Persona 6. Instead, a new team has been working on the game and could be much further along than we think.

Some rumors have suggested that the game may arrive in 2025 or 2026, but we can't vouch for the validity of these claims.

It's possible that there will be an official announcement regarding the game before the end of the year, but it's more likely to be revealed in early 2025.

Persona 5, which was released in 2016, was sold for $60. However, Persona 6 will likely see an increase to $70 for the standard series.

This was evident in Persona 3 Reload, a remake of a game from 2006 that cost $ 70, so there's little doubt that the new game will be different.

Every new Persona game has come out as a PlayStation exclusive, but we don't expect that trend to continue.

Since the release of Persona 5, Persona 4, and Persona 3 Reload have all been released on all platforms simultaneously including PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

Given how well those games have sold as multiplatform games, we think it's safe to say that the latest Persona series will be coming to multiple platforms when it releases.

What is Persona 6?

Simply put, Persona 6 is a sequel to the game Persona 5, which is a turn-based JRPG genre inspired by anime.

The series is historically set in Japan, where you split your days between action-adventure combat and balancing school life.

Assuming the new Persona series follows the same structure as the previous series, then you'll be playing as the protagonist in a modern setting somewhere in Japan.

Each day will be divided into several times that you can choose to spend hanging out with friends to improve your social relationships, working to earn money and improve your stats, and doing various other side activities.

Typically, at night, you can enter some form of alternate version of the world filled with demons that you can fight, negotiate with to recruit, and level up, similar to the game Pokémon
