Finally! You Can Play Persona 4 Golden on Steam Deck!

Good news for Atlus game lovers! Persona 4 Golden has finally been released and can be played for the Steam Deck as of 2022.

Serial Persona or Megami Tensei is a series games which is quite popular among connoisseurs games PlayStation. Consisting of several series with different backgrounds, the most recently released is Persona 5.

Persona 4 or Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 was released by Atlus in July 2008 in Japan and globally in late 2008 to games the most popular in this Persona series.

RPG video games (role-playing game) or this JRPG theme is getting several sequels (spin-off) namely Persona 4 Golden, Persona 4 Arena, Persona 4 Dancing All Night, Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, and Persona Q2: Cinema of Labyrinth.

Persona 4 Golden is the most popular of the series spin-off Another Persona 4. Games this success brought fame to Persona 4 especially outside of Japan thanks to its release on the Playstation Vita.

That fame is what brought Persona 4 Golden until you can finally play it on platforms Steam started last 2020

Until finally Persona 4 Golden was released for Steam Deck, the console issued by the Valve company for all of you to play games which is on Steam.

Persona 4 Golden Steam Deck Announcement News

Steam Deck is a console games developed by Valve Corporation in collaboration with Advanced Micro Devices. The console, which is planned to be released on February 25, 2022, is similar to the Nintendo Switch where this console is type 'on the go' or you can take it anywhere to play and you can still connect it to the monitor screen.

The thing that sets Steam Deck apart from Nintendo Switch is that Steam Deck is meant for everyone to play games which is on Steam.

Unfortunately, not all games on Steam get the 'Verify' symbol or be eligible to be played on Steam Decks, including Persona 4 Golden.

Persona 4 Golden, which released on Steam in 2020, has so far been on the list games which cannot be played on the Steam Deck. 

Valve, as the company has been conducting trials in recent weeks which rapidly expanded the list of verified and playable games on the Steam Deck, but Persona 4 Golden remains in an unsupported status.

The news that Persona 4 Golden can't be played certainly brings disappointment to players, especially to die-hard fans games Persona and lovers games consoles, as previously Persona 4 and Persona 4 Golden were intended for games games console.

Even though the release was late Steam in 2020, considering its initial release back in 2008, games it is in fact still very much loved and carries a certain nostalgia.

Atlus as the game development studio announced on February 16, 2022 that Persona 4 Golden has officially received the Verified label by Steam Deck and is currently in the trial phase or testing drives.

This confirms that Persona 4 Golden is finally playable on Steam and can be enjoyed without a hitch.Fixes related input controllers, configuration control and other features have also been improved and adjusted for the convenience of Persona 4 Golden players.

Persona 4 Golden is also one of hundreds games which Valve verified last week to be playable on the Steam Deck. 

Total games which has been verified by Valve reaches 150 games every week. The latest data shows there are more than 300 games verified can be played on the Steam Deck.

Games others like Skyrim, Fallout, SW: Squadrons and Knockout City also followed in Persona 4 Golden's footsteps in getting Steam Deck verified status by Valve.

Persona 4 Golden is spin-off or a complement to the previous Persona series, namely Persona 4. Having the same story and main characters, in this Golden version you will get various features, dungeons, and events which are more, exciting, and challenging for you to complete games it to the end.

Persona 4 or Persona 4 Golden tells about the daily lives of high school students where you will move to a small town called Inaba where a series of mysterious deaths occur.
