The Shibuya Incident is an arc in the Jujutsu Kaisen anime and is considered the best in the anime so far. 

In this arc, there are many tragedies and deaths of several important characters, such as Nanami and Nobara.

Antagonistic Characters Involved in this Arc

Here is a list of the main antagonist characters in the Shibuya Incident Arc Jujutsu Kaisen:

Kenjaku

Kenjaku is the mastermind behind the Shibuya Incident. Kenjaku's goal in carrying out this attack is to eliminate his biggest obstacle, namely Gojo. 

Kenjaku realizes that it would be useless to defeat Gojo, because killing Gojo would only trigger the birth of a new Six Eyes user. So he decides to seal Gojo instead.

Mahito

Mahito can be said to be Kenjaku's right hand man. And because of his behavior in this arc, he is quite hated by fans. 

During the Shibuya Incident, he transformed many innocent people into transfigured humans with his abilities. 

Apart from that, he also killed Nanami and Nobara in front of his eyes Yuji.

In this arc, Jogo has the task of holding back Gojo, while Kenjaku opens the Prison Realm. 

Jogo had quite an influence on this incident because he burned Nanami, Maki, and Naobito. But in the end he had to die after being defeated by Sukuna.

Choso

Choso also plays a role in holding Gojo back while Kenjaku opens the Prison Realm. Unlike the other antagonists, Choso is the only antagonist in the Shibuya Incident Arc who changes course.

After losing to Yuji, Choso suddenly gets a memory that Yuji is actually his younger brother. 

Knowing this, Choso becomes Yuji's ally to defeat Kenjaku. Choso is upset with Kenjaku for almost killing his own brother.

Sukuna

Unlike other antagonists, Sukuna is not actually on the side of Kenjaku or the Jujutsu Sorcerers. 

Despite this, he still serves as one of the main antagonists of the Shibuya Incident Arc. Sukuna was resurrected by Jogo after Jogo gave Sukuna the finger.

At first, Jogo thought that Sukuna would side with him. However, Jogo forgot that no one could command a Cursed King. 

Until finally, Sukuna fought with Jogo which resulted in the destruction of Shibuya.

Characters Who Died In The Shibuya Incident

Kento Nanami

Kento Nanami becomes one of the key figures in the rescue effort of Gojo. However, in the middle of the journey, Nanami, Maki, and Naobito must face Dagon.

Dagon's abilities were quite troublesome, but they managed to get out of Dagon's Domain Expansion thanks to Megumi and Toji who was resurrected.

But when they managed to get out of the domain, Jogo was already waiting for them. Seeing Dagon die at Toji's hands, Jogo immediately went on a rampage by burning Nanami, Maki, and Naobito. 

After being burned by Jogo, Nanami still managed to survive even though half of her body was burnt.

In a near-death state, Nanami is still strong enough to fight dozens of people who were turned into Cursed Spirits. 

Unfortunately, Nanami had to meet Mahito. Nanami, who was already helpless, was finally killed by Mahito in front of Yuji.

Nobara Kugisaki

After Nanami's death, Mahito fights with Yuji. Then Mahito split himself into two to look for Nobara.

After finding Nobara, the Mahito clone invites Nobara to meet Yuji who is fighting the real Mahito.  In order to destroy Yuji's mentality, Mahito immediately kills Nobara in front of Yuji.

Nobara received a very fatal wound so she was immediately taken by Arata Nitta. Nitta did manage to stop Nobara's bleeding, but Nitta also emphasized that the chances of Nobara surviving were very slim.

Naobito Zenin

Naobito Zenin is a powerful Jujutsu Sorcerer and the Head of the Zenin Clan. He was also involved in the Shibuya Incident to save Gojo. 

During the incident, Naobito was with Nanami and Maki take part in the fight against Dagon.

When Dagon used Domain Expansion, Naobito was actually already badly injured because he lost one of his arms. 

However, after defeating Dagon, Naobito was burned by Jogo. While Nanami and Maki managed to survive, Naobito died from the burns.
