Splatfest

In the Splatoon series, there is an exciting event called Splatfest or Festival (Japan). KYou can choose to join one of the three teams currently fighting.

The fun thing is, the themes vary, it can be about favorite foods, holiday styles, favorite foods, movie characters, or everyday objects.

In the first round of Splatfest, you will play with your team (4 vs 4) in Turf War mode. Simply put, whoever paints the most areas using their team's colored ink is the winner.

So, after the announcement of the leading team (usually called the Halftime Report), the team that won will return to compete with the other two teams that were left behind. The battle is really exciting, the format is 4 vs 2 vs 2, it's called Tricolor Turf War!

Splatfest Schedule – Splatoon 3

Wow, there's a new Splatfest in Splatoon 3! The Splatfest – Splatoon 3 schedule has also been announced, namely August 10-12 2024. The theme present in this festival is food.

Here's the game schedule depending on where you live:

America, Australia, New Zealand:

• North America: August 9 at 5pm PT – August 11 at 4.59pm PT
• Australia: 10 August at 10am AET – 12 August at 9.59am AET
• New Zealand: 10 August at 12pm AET – 12 August at 11.59pm AET

Europe:

• UK: 10 August at 1am BST – 12 August at 00.59pm BST
• Europe: 10 August at 2am CEST – 12 August at 01.59pm CEST

Japan:

• Japan: August 10 at 9am JST – August 12 at 8.59am JST

So, get ready to splash the opposing team with your favorite food theme!

How to Choose a Splatfest Team

It's easy, you can choose a team before Splatfest starts, namely during the Splatfest Sneak Peek event.

It's easy, you just need to stop by the main square in Splatsville. Later, you will find a pale yellow tent with clothes hanging on the front, paper lanterns on the sides, and on the right there is an electronic board showing the three teams you can choose.

Try checking the screen by pressing the 'A' button, then select the team you like. Later you will be given cool clothes from the team you choose!

Tricolor Turf War

This mode only appeared in the middle of Splatfest, aka after the Halftime Report. The format is unique, namely 4 vs 2 vs 2.

The team that is ahead at Splatfest will be the guard team (4 people), while the other two teams that are behind on points will only have 2 members each.

The task of this team of only 2 people (usually called the flanking team) is to fight for something called Ultra Signal. Meanwhile, the team on guard (4 people) must focus on protecting the Ultra Signal.

In the past, playing Tricolor Turf War was random, but now you can choose for yourself when you want to play this mode.

It will definitely be fun to see what happens if many people choose to play Tricolor Turf War!

Just like other modes, the winning team is still the one who paints the most areas using their team's colored ink!
