Nigma Galaxy

Nigma Galaxy formerly known as Team Nigma is an esports organization originating from Europe and was founded by former members of Team Liquid and four out of five of the champions of The International 2017. After Team Liquid finished 2nd at The International 2019, its captain, KuroKy, announced that he would leave Team Liquid because he had the idea is to set up its own Esports organization.

Since its founding in 2019, Nigma Galaxy now has many Esports teams with a total of 13 teams in various games namely Dota 2, League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Fortnite, Valorant, PUBG Mobile, BGMI, League of Legends: Wild Rift and Free Fire.

Increasingly growing, now the organization already has more than 60 male and female Esports athletes in more than 20 countries around the world. In addition, Team Nigma is also the first esports team sponsored by a major airline, namely Etihad Airways based in Abu Dhabi.

On September 21 2021, Nigma Galaxy and Galaxy Racer announced that they would be merging and said they wanted to see the opportunities created by this merger in the Middle East and Asia regions which are their focus.

Dubai-based Nigma Galaxy will head the Galaxy Racer esports team division which already includes more than 60 esports athletes from more than 20 countries in various tournament events. In addition to the MENA region, Nigma Galaxy stated plans to expand further in Europe, South America, North America, Southeast Asia and China as well.

Founded in 2019 by former Team Liquid members Mohamed Morad and Christoph Timm, Team Nigma is a globally recognized Dota 2 organization.
