The new map Deston is one of the newest maps from the game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds which was launched on July 13. This new map for Deston is one of the best maps launched by Krafton as the developer of the game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.

PUBG: Battlegrounds (or previously known as PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds) is a game by genre battle royale developed and published by PUBG Studios, a subsidiary of Krafton. The game itself was inspired by the 2000 Japanese film Battle Royale, based on previous mods Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene made for other games and expanded into a standalone game under Greene's creative direction.

In the gameplay itself, there are up to one hundred players who will parachute onto an island where they have to find weapons and equipment to be able to do so kill other players (enemies) while avoiding them from being killed by other players. The available safe area of the game map decreases in size over time and will lead survivors to increasingly forceful spaces so they can encounter each other.

Map Deston

As of last June 25, Content Manager from PUBG Santa Monica Sean Orlikowski and Andrew Hall talked with the development team about developing the Deston map in the PUBG game. In the PUBG Devtalk event, PUBG and Krafton also presented visual details of this map for the game PUBG: Battlegrounds.

At the event, PUBG also announced that the new Deston map would be launched on July 13. What distinguishes this Deston map from other PUBG maps is that this Deston map has unique characteristics, starting from the battlefield, obstacles, to the ornaments in the map.

In addition to other details, the Deston map also has a giant chicken balloon that flies around the former playground in this map.

In the details itself, this is a map filled with towering urban buildings and a variety of new designs that have never been shown in the PUBG game. Apart from that, this map will be the first map to feature places such as the concert district, western highlands, maghroves forest, and central plains which are very suitable for various weapons in the PUBG game.

Apart from that, this map is also equipped with a new pulley where players can have an emergency parachute which will be active as a default item, besides that players can also fill up gas to the vehicles that you use at gas stations available in this map, even though the gas stations are very susceptible to fire and make a big explosion when shot.

In other details, through this map the developers hope that players can learn in the new biomes available in this map and players must learn to use the various weapons in the game and vehicles that suit any situation and condition to achieve victory.

In the item section itself, there will be a new item called Blue Chip Detector which functions to find other players from the existing radius. Apart from the presence of this map, PUBG also released 2 new weapons, namely the Origin 12 Slug Shotgun and the Mp9 Submachine Gun.

The presence of the Deston map is expected to present a more enjoyable and fresher playing experience with a more realistic battleground.

Event Map Deston

Because the Deston map is a special map, PUBG or Krafton will hold an event along with the release of this map, which is a celebration of the release of the new map. The event is called Deston Summer Tour Event.

The Deston Summer Tour Event is an event organized by PUBG where PUBG players have to go around each area on this map for two weeks, choose their favorite places, capture their moments by taking screenshots or videos and uploading them on the platform determined by PUBG. .

Of all the participants who took part in the Deston Summer Tour Event, the players had the opportunity to win Deston spray prizes of up to 1000 G-coins. This event itself was created to enliven the opening of a new map in PUBG, namely Deston.
