The Indonesian Dota 2 team contains five players with extraordinary skills and talents. There is Womy from the Army Geniuses team, Jhocam, Dreamocel, Hyde, Mikoto from the Talon Esports team, and Whitemon who recently joined the American team, TSM.

They faced the Philippines in the Upper Bracket Semifinals and were forced to lose with a score of 1-2. Moreover, the defeat was a reverse sweep, meaning that the Indonesian team managed to get one point, but the Philippines team had to lose in the next two games.

The second and third matches contained a really neat teamfight between the two teams. Unfortunately, the Indonesian team failed to win so that the last teamfight was won by the Filipino team.

In the second game, Indonesia managed to gain the advantage until 30 minutes. However, they initiated an unprofitable teamfight so that the advantage shifted to the Philippines team.

The choice of Nature Prophet as post 1 or safelane from the Philippines proved to be very effective against the Indonesian team.

With the split push method, the Philippine team managed to gain the upper hand and in the 55th minute, the Philippine team initiated the final teamfight at the Indonesian base with Aegis in the hands of Nature Prophet without any Timbersaw or 4v5.

The third game is a game that determines whether the Indonesian team will win or lose in the Upper Bracket Semifinals against the Philippines team. Unfortunately, their hopes of advancing to the Upper Bracket Final had to be dashed due to the strength of the Filipino team in the late game phase.

The Indonesian team failed to win in the 55th minute against the Filipino team 4v3. Initially, the Indonesian team had succeeded in picking off Silencer and Magnus.

However, Akashi's Naga Siren is too strong plus Lewis's Puck is very hard to catch. When Silencer respawned, the Indonesian team was overwhelmed and finally got picked off without any buyback.

The team wipe by the Philippines against Indonesia marked the defeat of the Indonesian team. The third game ended by typing “gg” by Mikoto and Indonesia must go to the Lower Bracket Quarterfinals against North Macedonia.

If the Indonesian national team manages to win the match against North Macedonia, then there is a chance to fight one of the three teams, namely Kazakhstan, Laos, or Thai.

Of course the three teams are very strong teams and cannot be underestimated.
