MPL ID S13 Week 9 Standings: RRQ Hoshi Qualifies for Playoffs

After slumping and occupying almost the bottom of the MPL ID Season 13 Week 9 standings, RRQ Hoshi managed to get up after beating United Gods with a score of 2-0 on Friday (17/5/2024). It didn't stop there, the King also succeeded in overthrowing El Familia with a score of 2-1 on Saturday (18/5/2024).

Two consecutive wins obtained RRQ Hoshi leading him to sit in 6th position in the MPL ID S13 Week 9 standings.

RRQ Hoshi managed to take advantage of the opportunity well, winning these two matches made him qualify for the playoffs next June.

Previously, RRQ Hoshi was certain to qualify for the playoffs if Geek Family managed to win the match by any score. Only Rebellion can thwart RRQ's journey by winning 2-0 against Geek Fam.

Luckily, Geek Fam managed to turn things around and dash Rebellion's hopes of reaching the playoffs after competing for 3 games.

Rebellion failed to send RRQ to the red zone of the standings MPL 13, they had to suffer defeat with a score of 1-2 against Geek Fam in the closing match (19/5/2024).

On Saturday (18/5/2024) two giants in the MPL 13 standings competed against each other. The match between Bigetron Alpha vs ONIC was won by the Red Robot with a score of 2-0.

Bigetron's unshakable position at the top of the standings allowed them to play calmly and were able to beat ONIC in just two games. Because winning or losing in this match does not matter to them.

Even though they lost to Bigetron, ONIC is still in 2nd place in the standings. In sequence Geek Fam, AURA, EVOS Glory are still in their position last week and sixth place in the standings now belongs to RRQ Hoshi.

Thus the Regular Season MPL 13 Week 9 round has closed. So the three teams in the lowest ranking, namely Rebellion, Alter Ego and Dewa United, were declared to have failed to qualify for the playoffs.

Alter Ego's failure to qualify for the MPL ID 13 playoff round was the second failure for El Familia.
