MLBB China Server
With the presence of this new server, it will be easier for Mobile Legends to be accessed in China. This will of course have a very positive impact on the competitive level of MLBB esports there.
So that it will bring up many new players and make the tournaments held there even tighter.
The plan is that the new Chinese MLBB server will be officially opened by Moonton in January 2025.
And will make China officially the 220th country to enter the MLBB server worldwide.
If the Mobile Legends scene continues to grow significantly there, it's possible we could see an official Mobile Legends league in China soon. Plus China is also known as a country that has great gamers in the world.
Previously, teams from China only had qualifying tournaments to qualify for the M-Series and MSC.
Mobile Legends Esports Team's Journey Internationally
Before the MLBB China server was officially launched, the esports scene for this game was already competitive. Moreover, teams from China have also had the opportunity to participate in international tournaments since M5 in the Philippines in 2023.
In addition, they also got a slot to appear at MSC 2024 which was part of the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a few months ago.
But in both events, teams from China still can't compete with other regions. But this has started to improve with what they showed in M6.
Where in the M6 Wild Card round, DianFengYaoGuai (DFYG) as the Chinese representative performed brilliantly. They managed to win two victories over Nightmare Esports (Laos/Mekong) and Geekay Esports (MENA). However, they failed to become the champion of Group A after losing 1-2 to ULFHEDNAR (Turkey).
Meanwhile, in the Swiss Stage M6 phase, KeepBest Gaming as the champion of the M6 China Qualifier managed to win 2-0 over Maycam Evolve (Argentina/LATAM) after losing 0-1 to RRQ Hoshi and Team Liquid ID.
However, their progress had to stop in the 4th round of the Swiss Stage after receiving their third defeat from Selangor Red Giants with a score of 0-2.
