Drake is one of the MVPs in the Ragnarok Game.

It is said that Drake was previously a famous pirate king. When he was looking for treasure, he was hit by a very deadly curse by someone.

The curse made Drake a Living Undead and attacks anyone who enters his ship!

As a pirate Undead, he takes the form of a zombie with stick legs. Face like zombies wearing a hat and a furry collar coat. On the head, there is a crow.

Finding Drake in Ragnarok isn't difficult. he was in Sunken Ship Floor 2, to be exact at the top center. Several other versions of Ragnarok also allow Drake to appear on Endless Towers.

Just like other MVPs, Drake only appears once. After he dies, players must wait 120-130 minutes for Drake to respawn.

Or, in version Ragnarok Online X: Next Generation (ROX), there is a special dungeon named Corsair Cabin for players who want to fight Drake. Uniquely, there are two levels of Drake, Normal and Hard.

Drake Ragnarok Drop Items

Drop Item Drake Ragnarok can be divided into two, MVP Drops and Drops.

MVP Drops are items dropped by all MVP monsters. These items are White Potion and Amethyst. Meanwhile, Drops are more specific, depending on what monsters the player defeats. 

Quoting from RateMyServer and Divine Pride, for the most part, Drake drops weapons. These weapons are Ring Pommel Saber, Saber, Haedonggum, Cultus, and Krasnaya. Drake also has the chance to drop Elunium and Corsair (Drake's hat).

Meanwhile, from ROX, Item Drop Drake focuses more on materials to make Weapon Sets.  Also, the more difficult the levels, the better items players can get.

But what is most targeted by players is, of course, the Card. The Drake Card normally has a percentage of 0.01%, but this percentage may change as the Ragnarok versions differ.

Using the Drake Card can affect the amount of damage dealt to each monster based on their size (small/medium/large).

How To Beat Drake Ragnarok?

Drake is indeed very difficult to beat, but that doesn't mean it's impossible.

Based on research on several versions of Ragnarok, there are several similarities between them. Drakes are aggressive and can change targets even when attacking.

The damage as an MVP really hurts. Moreover, in several versions of Ragnarok, Drake can summon Wraith and Wraith Dead to help him fight players.

A sign of Drake's presence around the player is the crow's sound. Drake's crow will scream, then Drake will start attacking players within his radius.

The first and most important thing is the high level. All the monsters in Ragnarok have a minimum level for you to fight against. Including Drake, he is not just any monster, he is MVP, the strongest level of monsters.

After that, make sure to make a party to fight it. All versions of Ragnarok include a party system, allowing you to play with other people. By combining forces, Drake can be defeated more easily.

But, make sure your Party has a good composition. Minimum Party composition must have a Priest, Damage Dealer, and Tank.  

Tanks can come from Job Knight, Crusader, or Blacksmith.  Dealer Damage can be Job Assassin, Mage, or Hunter. While the Priest is useful for giving buffs and making sure no party members die.  

Finally, get to know Drake's skills and status. Of all versions of Ragnarok, at least Drake has skills in the form of Decrease Agility (Slow), Water Ball, and Water Attribute Attack.

You have to be alert if Drake issues a skill. Usually, every monster that can cast skills has preparations before casting its skills. After that, there is a text box that states what skills the monster casts.

By taking advantage of these two things, you can avoid these skills or increase Defense. As anticipation, put some distance between you and other friends to avoid type attacks AoE (Area of Effect).

Meanwhile, in terms of status, Drake is included as a monster with the Undead element. You can use skills with Holy or Fire elements because they have a greater amount of damage than other elements.
