The Minecraft The Wild update has finally been released, and with it, a number of new and useful Minecraft mobs. Since Minecraft is a large open world game, finding these new monsters can take a lot of time.

In this article, we'll show you how to find all the new minecraft mobs in the Minecraft 1.19 update so you can skip the boring part and get right into the fun.

Locations and How to Get Minecraft Mobs

Frog

Frog

Frogs spawn only in swamp and mangrove swamp biomes, in groups of two to five. Players can find temperate (orange) frogs in the swamps and warm (white) frogs in the mangrove swamps.

The swamp biome is characterized by dark trees and grass, vines hanging from trees, and lots of standing water.

You'll usually find them in ravines or as an extension of the jungle biome. Mangroves are a variant of the swamp biome that occurs in warmer areas, usually next to forests and deserts.

Players can try to find the swamp manually, or by using the locate command if their world has cheats enabled.

As part of the newly revamped swamp, the frog is a passive mob that comes to Minecraft 1.19 in three variants.

Depending on the spawning location, frogs can have three variants, default, cool or tropical. Just like in real life, Minecraft frogs can jump very high, swim faster and prey on smaller mobs.

You can find frogs sitting on the edge of the ground as well as on lotus leaves and dripping leaves in swamps and mangrove swamps.

In terms of food, their diet is small magma cubes and small slime cubes. And if the frog eats a cube of magma, it drops toad light, that is, multi-colored blocks that emit light. Meanwhile, slime cubes are food that players can use to breed frogs.

Tadpole

The tadpole is the passive baby version of the frog. They mature into one of three frog variants, depending on the biome in which they mature.

Tadpoles don't lay eggs naturally, they hatch from frog fry, which are created by frog breeding. Feed two frogs a slimeball – one of them will get pregnant and spawn (frogspawns), similar to a turtle.

Players can spawn Allay by using a spawn egg in creative mode. Otherwise, they lay their eggs in the following locations:

Forest House

Players can find the stable room on the ground floor of Woodland Mansions, which contains 4 cobblestone cages, each with 3 passages trapped inside.

Players can use nearby levers to open doors and free everyone. This means finding mansions is the fastest way to get a large number of Allay and Minecraft mobs at once.

Be careful when exploring the mansions, as they are home to hordes of dangerous enemies, including zombies, vines, avengers, looters and so on.

Similar to Iron Golems, Allays spawn trapped in wooden cages around Loot Outposts. Each cage can contain up to three Allays, simply destroy the structure to let them escape.

After that, they wandered around to find the dropped items. Players might want to deal with the looters first before getting Allay, as the numbers are quite dangerous.

If alay is given amethyst shards while dancing, it will make a small amethyst sound, make a heart, and double it into another alay. This skill has a cooldown of 2.5 minutes.

Warden

Warden

The Warden are typical Minecraft mobs that appear in Deep Dark Caves, who are summoned by Sculk Shriekers. However, players can spawn it outside of Deep Dark by activating the shrieker's sculk block three times.

To get shrieker's sculk blocks, players must find them in Deep Dark and harvest them using the silk touch tool.

Starting with the most anticipated mob, we have the Warden. This mob boss teased for an update Minecraft 1.18 Caves & Cliffs, but couldn't get to the game in time.

With the entire structure of the ancient city itself, the Warden only appears underground in the dark cave biome. This is also the first blind mob in the game. Unable to see you, the Warden relies on the sounds and vibrations you make to find and hunt you.

If you've explored our list of new biomes in Minecraft 1.19, you already know that this update is going to be wild. Literally and figuratively. And all the new monsters in the Minecraft 1.19 update are just here to push our expectations to a whole new height.

Though, if you haven't tried the Minecraft 1.18 update yet, we recommend doing so first. In the article above is how to get Minecraft Java and Bedrock mobs.

But don't forget to bookmark this guide, because we will continue to add more monsters as they are confirmed and the release date gets closer.
