After fighting Mahito in the anime Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Shibuya Incident Arc, Kugisaki suffered a serious injury to his eye. This raises the question is he still alive?

He received the wound when Mahito touched half of his face with the Idle Transfiguration technique which made him immediately lie down with blood pouring out. Nobara then said her last words "Tell everyone that my hipdu is not bad".
