This device is armed with a battery with a capacity of 1800 mAh which provides playing time from three to six hours. To make the PSP thinner, Sony then reduced the battery capacity to 1200 mAh.
The application of this battery is carried out on the next PSP generation models, namely the 2000 and 3000 models. Devices with these models can be played for 4 to 7 hours with a charge time of 1.5 hours.
