In the end, Mario and his fellow Rabbids wanted to save Sparks in order to maintain peace in the galaxy. During the journey to save Sparks, Bowser joins Mario in saving his soldiers from the forces of Darkmess.

The gameplay of this game focuses on strategy and action. Players will create a team consisting of three heroes. Currently, there are nine characters that you can play.

The characters you can play as in the main game are Mario the plumber, Peach, Luigi, Bowser, Rabbid Mario, Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Luigi, Rabbid Rosalina, and a new character named Edge.

Through a team of three heroes, players will fight various enemies, including bosses with stronger stats.
