Lotus Release Date and Location

Lotus was officially released on January 10, 2023, in Episode 6, Act 1. The map's initial approach is similar to Haven.

However, there are new features which are a new and fresh approach to the Valorant map or FPS maps in general.

Lotus is the 9th map in Valorant and is located in the Western Ghats region, India. 

There are rivers, forests, and most importantly, a huge Lotus tree (located in the center of the map) that covers the entire map with its roots and trunk.

Best Agent for Map Lotus in Valorant

Lotus is a map that has many scenarios for duels. And the key aspect of the duel is who wins in taking control. 

That's why you have to have an agent composition that can give you better control and kill the enemy earlier.

The first agents you can use when playing on this map are Omen, Viper, and Breach in terms of support. 

Omen's ability to teleport across such a large map will be very useful later. 

When it comes to first blood or early kills and taking control of a location as an aggressive duelist, Raze is the right choice for the Lotus map.

As a very large map with three Valorant information agent locations, such as Cypher or Killjoy, you can really rely on it when playing.

They can provide precise information while at a completely different point on the map. 

This makes a great addition for already aggressive initiators and duelists. 

Apart from that, you can also exchange Cypher or Killjoy for Sova / Gekko, depending on which agent you prefer.
