Lord Martanos profile

Lord Martanos was once a Crusader and a captain in Zakarum during the Zakarum inquisition. He has the title of Fallen Zakarum Paladin.

Through an unknown means, he managed to obtain a demonic taint that could grant him greater power.

Lord Martanos was able to easily defeat Sladyan, the highest bishop of the monastery but was trapped on an isolated peak.

He was eventually killed along with the rest of the army and the monks by a mist released by a giant demon that had been stalking the highlands of Mount Zavain, the Ancient Nightmare during the war between the Rakkis and the Patriarch.

Every time the Ancient Nightmare took a step, black poisonous mist would seep out from the ground. Lord Martanos' body was later found and buried in the Zakarum cemetery on Mount Zavain.

Martanos finally returned as an undead. He was killed by Shard Seekers (the name for players in the game Diablo Immortal) in 1270.

You can find Lord Martanos, who has now risen as an undead, in his burial area on Mount Zavain, while Martanos, who is still alive, is a mini-boss in the Forgotten Nightmares quest.

Location and How to Spawn Lord Martanos

You can find Lord Martanos in the top left corner of Mount Zavain. You will meet an altar and can interact with it.

To spawn Lord Martanos, you only need to interact with the altar. He can only appear once every 30 minutes after the last time he appeared.

It is recommended to visit this altar to see how many minutes are left before you can activate the altar again.

If Lord Martanos hasn't appeared yet, then all you can do is wait patiently.

Events involving Lord Martanos are only available in Hell I Difficulty mode and above. When he is ready to fight, an automatic navigation prompt will appear once you are on Mount Zavain.

The fastest way to get to Lord Martanos' location is to teleport to the Zakarum Cemetery Waypoint.

Once there, you just need to walk straight west through the cave. This will immediately take you to the altar room.

How to Defeat Lord Martanos

To defeat Lord Martanos alone is very difficult. You are strongly advised to form a group and collaborate with other players before he appears.

Every attack from Blood Rose has very high damage. So, you need to prepare some Health Potions to help you in the fight.

You can utilize Health Globes and try to avoid avoidable attacks to keep your HP as high as possible without using Health Potions.

Lord Martanos' attacks will produce moderate damage, but will not hit all targets in the area.

Move away from players with other melee attacks and position yourself in an open space with no other players around to share the damage dealt by Martanos.
