List of All Characters in Marvel Rivals Game

The characters in Marvel Rivals divided into 3 roles, namely vanguard (tank), duelist (damage), and strategist (support).

In the season 1.5 update, two characters from The Fantastic Four were also added to the game. games (duelist and vanguard), so the total Character List currently 37 characters.

All Vanguards in Marvel Rivals

There are currently nine vanguards in Marvel Rivals – as of the start of season 1.5 – and we’ve listed them all below.

The Thing from the Fantastic Four is the latest addition to the vanguard ranks.

Bruce Banner (Hulk) – December 6, 2024

This transformable tank is able to make excellent use of its health bar to survive in battle.

Captain America – December 6, 2024

A dueling tank capable of fighting with multiple duelists and strategists, making him an effective assassin who can also serve as a defender for his teammates.

Doctor Strange – December 6, 2024

A shield-focused tank, capable of protecting teammates and transporting them around the map quickly via portals.

Groot – December 6, 2024

A wall-focused tank, capable of building large barriers that protect himself and teammates from enemy attacks.

Magneto – December 6, 2024

A powerful tank that uses a shield to block incoming damage, which can then be redirected back to his enemies.

Peni Parker – December 6, 2024

A defensive tank capable of locking down areas with mines and healing nets.

The Thing – February 21, 2025

A tough tank who is immune to most crowd control and can beat up enemies with his fists.

A high damage tank who is able to combine his abilities to kill enemies quickly while keeping himself alive.

A highly mobile tank, capable of diving into the enemy's back line and still being able to return to his team.

A fast duelist who is able to use ranged attacks to deal damage from afar, while also raiding the backline.
