Starfield DLC Release Date, Storyline and Game Price Leaked

Bethesda as the developer of the Starfield game has not confirmed the release date for the Shattered Space DLC. However, based on the latest trailer released by Bethesda, the Starfield DLC will be released in 2024. 

Quoting from Dexerto, Todd Howard, director of the Starfield DLC, confirmed that the game will be released in fall 2024. 

The Starfield DLC will feature a new story centered on the mysterious Great Serpent. The Great Serpent is a god worshiped by Starfield players. Later, the story of Starfield Shattered Space will also be related to House Va'Ruun.

When referring to Starfield DLC first trailer which will be released on June 10, 2024. There will be a number of content updates covering locations, weapons, prizes, content customization from developer Bethesda. 

Specifically, the trailer description also explains the unique weapons, spacesuits and new equipment that will be in the DLC. 

Apart from that, there will be new Starfield DLC released every year. Todd Howard also announced that there will be a new Ship Building mechanic in Shattered Space.

Bethesda Will Release Expansions Every Year 

Quoting from Starfieldb.com Shattered Space will be Starfield DLCs the biggest. However, this DLC won't be the biggest one yet. 

Todd Howard confirmed this in an interview with Youtuber MrMattyPlays that Bethesda will release an expansion version of the game every year. 

Howard said Shattered Space is part of the annual expansion version of the game. The development team is planning an annual DLC release similar to the previous game. 

The main focus of Shattered Space will revolve around the secret world of House V'Ruun and the city of Dazra. In this interview session, Howard confirmed that there would be new interesting content in the DLC version. 

Starfield Shattered Space

Shattered Space is the first expansion game for Starfield games. Quoting from starfielddb.com, it is possible that the concept proposed in this DLC is similar to the games Fallout 3 and Skyrim. Both games are the work of Bethesda too. 

The conflict that occurs in the DLC will begin when the Va'ruun faction mysteriously disappears. Reportedly faction In the DLC storyline, they live on a mystical planet called Va'ruun'kai. 

According to Timothy Parry, a Starfield gamer who has played for 400 hours. Va'ruun's appearance will be a source of conflict in Starfield's first story expansion. There will likely be a large-scale war similar to the Colony War. 

Shattered Space Price Speculation

When reviewing the work of Bethesda Game Studios on Dragonborn Skyrim DLC. It is likely that the Starfield Shattered Space DLC will be priced between US$20 – US$10. 

The Skyrim DLC itself is sold for US$20 so if the Starfield DLC is the same size then the price will definitely be the same. Considering both were born from the same developer.
