PMGC 2022 League Stage Schedule, Check It Out!

With the end of all esports competitions PUBG Mobile in 2022, the biggest event PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC): 2022 is just around the corner with some of the best teams around the world.

On 10 November 2022 the League stage will begin for all the teams that have made it through. A total of 48 teams will compete against each other for the top 16 to reach the PMGC Grand Final. This League Stage will provide prizes worth $2.5 million and will be held on December 4, 2022.

PMGC 2022 Format And Schedule

The format in the League Stage league will be very interesting featuring some exciting match flows. Where it is divided into three parts, namely the Group Stage, Survival Stage, and Last Chance.

In the Group Stage, 48 teams will compete against each other to win the group to qualify for the Grand Final, while the team that can only sit in positions 4-11 will advance to the Survival Stage. Meanwhile, the bottom five teams will not continue in the league.

In the Survival Stage phase, every 14 teams will compete against each other to enter the round-robin format. Meanwhile, the top 16 teams will advance to the Last Chance phase.

In the qualifying round of the League Stage, 16 teams will battle for four places in the Grand Final. While the top four teams will advance to the finals, the other 12 teams will be eliminated from the competition.

The PMGC Grand Final 2022 schedule will be held from January 6 to January 8 2023. In this final round, 13 teams that have qualified and three invited teams will meet to determine the PUBG Mobile 2023 world champion.

PMGC League Stage Group Draw Results 2022

Since October 26, 2022, PUBG has announced several teams that have made it into the PMGC this year. Each group will be filled by several tough teams who are ready to knock down the weak enemy team.

In the group phase draw itself is carried out based on the region or country of each club. For example, Indonesia will be represented by RRQ and Evos.

The team from Southeast Asia was the first to be withdrawn because this region has the most number of teams, namely 14, while the team from Japan was the last to be withdrawn because the region only fielded only two teams in the PMGC.

Of the three groups, Group B looks the most competitive. The group looks very scary which is filled by a tough team. Where there are Vampire Esports, HVVP (Ex NAVI), GodLike Stalwart Esports, and Alpha 7 Esports teams. Apart from that, the defending champion Nova Esports will also compete in this group.

Bacon Time and Damwon Gaming will also provide meaningful resistance for the top teams. They could just get rid of the top teams at this time.

However, each group will face tough matches as there will only be three slots for the Grand Final of the first phase of the PMGC 2023 League

With the group announced, all the teams will study the competition in their respective groups and work out their strategy as well.
