Even though the anime was on hiatus for a month The Secret of the Hidden World Season 1 has finally finished with 24 episodes. 

Anime This managed to achieve a rating of 8.89 on myanimelist.net thanks to its story which attracted a lot of attention from fans. 

Many fans have been waiting for the anime to air The Secret of the Hidden World season 2. Luckily the announcement of the release of the anime known as The Apothecary Diaries has come out. 

Quoting from a post on the X account @kusuriya_PR, this anime will continue with season 2 in 2025. Fans can also watch the teaser visual on Toho Animation YouTube.

Toho Animation is one of the studios that produced The Apothecary Diaries anime with OLM Studio. This anime is directed by Norihiro Naganuma.

Will The Apothecary Diaries Be Released in 2025? 

This was a question considering the mangaka The Secret of the Hidden World who was caught up in a tax evasion scandal last May. 

Quoting from animecorner The Fukuoka Regional Taxation Bureau suspects that Nekokurage as the manga artist KThe Secret of the Hidden World has committed tax evasion. 

In April 2024 Nekokurage or Erika Ikeda, was found guilty and had to accept punishment. 

This case raises the question of whether the K anime will be released.The Secret of the Hidden World Season 2 will air in 2025? 

If we talk about the anime version of The Apothecary Diaries, then it will most likely still air. Because the episodes in the anime will adapt the manga version. 

Now manga The Apothecary Diaries has reached 75 chapters. If you want to continue the anime episode by reading the manga, start reading chapters 41 – 75. 

In Season 1 yesterday, this anime spent 40 anime chapters. While currently the manga version is available as many as 40 chapters. 

So it is likely that The Apothecary Diaries season 2 anime will still air in 2025.

The Apothecary Diaries anime has released the latest visual that aired at the Tanabata festival on July 7, 2024 yesterday. 

In the video, the character Maomao is seen writing a letter of request on a piece of paper. Then Jinshi seemed to be peeking at Maomao who was busy writing. 

Then there is also a mini voice drama video of Maomao and Jinshi who appear to be wearing traditional Japanese clothing. 

You can watch The Apothecary Diaries on Netflix. It is likely that season 2 of this anime will also air again on the popular streaming platform.
