The implementation of an offline tournament entitled KOP Esport Season 1 “King of The King” at BSC Mall, Batam, was successful. The event was opened directly by Deputy Mayor of Batam, Amsakar Achmad on Sunday 26 June 2022.
Amsakar appreciated the tournament. Because, according to him, KOP Esport Season 1 is one of the efforts to increase the capacity and ability of Batam e-sport athletes.
“So that they can compete at even higher events. This is a good moment to hone athletes' abilities," he said as quoted from the official website Batam City Government.
He hopes that in the future there will also be parties who hold a similar tournament in Batam.

Thus, Batam e-sport athletes can bring Batam's name to the National and International levels.
"And what I also hope for besides practicing, is to maintain solidity and solidarity," he said.
He is sure that Batam will have e-sports athletes who can compete on the national and international stages.
Of course, this must be accompanied by good coaching.
"Hopefully there will be athletes who will appear and donate gold medals from Batam, especially this activity later," he said.
He also congratulated the event and hoped that the tournament would give birth to great e-sport athletes.
"Happy competition, get the best achievement. Because with strong determination and enthusiasm as well as regular training we will be able to become professionals," he said.

The details are that for PUBGM there is a Prize Pool of IDR 2.5 million, MLBB of IDR 6 million and Free Fire of IDR 750,000.
