Recently, as reported by Giz China, Mobile China via Weibo again leaked specifications regarding the IQOO 13 Series. 

“Information regarding the IQOO 13 leak has come out. It is estimated that the IQOO 13 will adopt a 1.5K vertical screen and a 2K curved screen.

IQOO 13 Series features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 engine

According to leaks spread on Weibo, the IQOO 13 Series will have the latest engine, namely Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. 

According to Wff Tech, the engine which will be launched in October 2024 will compete with the fastest chipset currently, the Apple M3 which is installed on the Macbook 14 Pro.

An X user named Negative One Hero, compared the three runways, including Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, Apple M3, and Dimensity 9400 through his post. 

Based on test results, Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 got amazing results. The overall kitchen runway received a benchmark score of 3,133,570 with a single core score of 2,845 and multi core score of 10,628.

However, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is still behind the Apple M3 with a single core score of 2,985 and multi core 10,762, and the Dimensity 9,400 with an overall score of 3,449,366 and slightly ahead in terms of multi core with a score of 11,739.

By juxtaposing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and the two superior chipsets in its class, this indicates that the IQOO 13 series is predicted to be a flagship smartphone that is quite competitive.

Becomes one of the cellphones that gets Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for the first time

Together with Xiaomi and Oneplus, IQOO is also a smartphone brand that will get the latest performance from Qualcomm.

This was successfully revealed by a leaker from India, Yogesh Brar. “Xiaomi is still exclusively the brand that was the first to get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 engine, followed by One Plus and IQOO.

"The lineup that gets Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 includes Xiaomi 15/15 Pro, One Plus 13, and IQOO 13."

Moreover, these three brands also got the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset in the previous release. Not surprisingly, they got exclusive rights again. 

Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is also equipped with an Adreno 830 GPU which is believed to significantly improve the CPU. Apart from that, this chipset will also be equipped with the Fast Connect 7900 feature and integrated UWB.

When will the IQOO 13 Series be officially launched?

Even though signs of the appearance of this smartphone have spread throughout the virtual world, IQOO has not yet provided a definite time when this smartphone will be released. However, it is estimated that not long after this runway will be launched in October 2024.

Previously, on the IQOO 12 series, this smartphone would target gamers because the specifications compete with sophisticated engine specifications, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 144HZ refresh rate and incredibly fast charging speed, namely 120 Watts.
