iPad Pro 2024 uses the M4 chip and is claimed to have the thinnest body

On Tuesday (2/5/2024) Apple just launched the newest iPad Pro which uses the M4 chipset. With this chipset performance Latest version of iPad This will be faster than its predecessor. 

The iPad Pro comes in two screen variants, 11 and 13 inches with OLED Ultra Retina XDR Display panels. This latest display technology promises richer colors and increased contrast. 

Armed with these screen specifications, the iPad Pro 2024 is capable of displaying a screen brightness of up to 1,000 nits. Meanwhile, to display HDR content, this tablet has a brightness level of up to 1,600 nits. 

In order to maintain image quality and cons, Apple adopted a new nano-textured glass that is carved with precision. So the light on this latest tablet is much friendlier to the eyes. Apple claims that their newest product, the 13 inch variant, is their thinnest product. 

For the widest variant, the thickness of the device is only 5.1 mm, while for the 11 inch variant the thickness is 5.5 mm. Each device weighs 444 grams and 580 grams.

iPad Pro Chipset Specifications and Performance

This latest Apple tablet uses the M4 chipset to support its performance. Armed with this chipset, Apple claims their latest tablet has 50 percent faster performance than the M2 chip. 

The M4 chipset uses the M3 GPU which has advanced features such as Dynamic Caching and Ray Tracing. 

Even though it uses the latest chipset which promises faster performance. This does not make the battery consumption of the newest Apple tablet in 2024 wasteful. 

The M4 chipset is capable of delivering excellent performance M2 chipset but its power consumption is half as efficient. There is also an increase in thermal performance on this latest tablet. 

The Most Powerful AI Based Device

Tablet This new product from Apple uses a Neural Engine which is capable of carrying out 38 trillion operations per second. Of course, this performance is sixty times faster than the Neural Engine on the A11 Bionic chipset. 

User activities with this tablet will be supported by AI whose performance is increasingly agile. 

For example, users can isolate a subject from the background in 4K video with just one touch. This is very helpful when users utilize the Scene Removal Mask feature in Final Cut Pro.

The AI-based features on this tablet allow users to run two applications simultaneously. For example, using Microsoft 365 with Adobe Fire. 

The newest Apple tablet in 2024 also uses the latest Media Engine which includes AV1 decoding. So when accessing high resolution video streaming it will be much more power efficient.

There is a 12MP resolution main camera with the ability to capture better images and videos. Even though it is only 12 MP, the iPad Pro camera is capable of producing images and videos with better color quality, texture and detail. 

On the back of the tablet there is also a True Tone flash which makes scanning documents easier than previous versions of the iPad. 

The AI technology on this tablet also allows users to scan documents without using third-party applications. 

Users can use the camera if there are shadows blocking it. The newest Apple tablet in 2024 will immediately take lots of photos quickly with the help of its True Tone flash. 

Furthermore, on the front of the tablet there is a TrueDepth camera. Apple also provides an ultra-wide camera with 12MP resolution complete with Center Stage. In this way, the video conferencing experience using the iPad Pro becomes even better.  

The iPad Pro also uses a USB-C charging cable with support for Thunderbolt 3 and USB 4. This feature can speed up cable connectivity up to 40GB/s. This tablet also supports WiFi 6E and 5G networks.

iPad Pro Price 2024

The iPad Pro has been available in Apple stores since May 15 2024. There are two color variants, namely silver and space black. 

The storage options for this latest Apple product are 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB and 2TB. The following is a price list for each variant: 

• iPad Pro 2024 11 inch WiFi – IDR 16 million.
• iPad Pro 2024 11 inch Wifi + Cellular – IDR 19.2 million
• iPad Pro 2024 13 inch WiFi – IDR 20.8 million.
• iPad Pro 2024 13 inch WiFi + Cellular – IDR 24.1 million

Meanwhile, purchasing the Apple Pencil Pro is priced at IDR 2 million. Then the Magic Keyboard is sold for IDR 4.8 million (11 inch) and IDR 5.6 million (13 inch).
