CM Games sang developers the single-player survival shooter game Into the Radius (2020), has released its newest sequel, namely Into the Radius 2 Steam Early Access.

This game takes place in the Pechorsk Security Zone and will invite you to explore the zone. This Early Access version only contains one main location with seven "top priority" missions.

A glance at the game Into the Radius 2

The game Into the Radius 2 is a survival shooter game VR which is set in a surreal landscape full of deadly anomalies. 

Featuring both one-player and two-player co-op (four players will be added in the latest update), you can arm yourself with realistic weapons and venture deeper into the mysteries that exist within the Pechorsk Security Zone.

CM Games says the sequel retains some of the beloved features of the previous version, including carefully crafted weapons and equipment, a sophisticated loot management system, and the freedom to explore the secrets of dangerous locations filled with anomalies and haunting enemies.

Additionally, this Early Access version will include tutorial locations, bases, and its first major gameplay area.

Features Not Available in the Early Access Version

The game's developers have made a list of things that won't be in the Early Access version. Here are the details: 

• Customize any weapon.
• Armor and helmet.
• A completely new type of enemy.
• Full implementation of Tide (only the most basic version is coming).
• Laboratories on Base, artifacts with facilities, and their processing.
• Difficulty settings.
• Stable co-op mode with fully functional radio. As mentioned previously, this is the biggest technical challenge for them, and work on co-op reliability will continue until the game is released in full.

Price, Full Version Release Schedule, and Current Features

Into the Radius 2 has been released in Early Access on Steam with a price of around $39.99 or IDR 650,000.

The full version of this game is planned to be released in 2025. This Early Access version has the following features:

• 1 main location with a unique theme, and 1 additional smaller location + new UNPSC Explorer facility.
• 7 top priority missions, several secondary missions, and several security levels to unlock.
• 14 weapons, with several variants for some weapons. 2 types of ammunition, namely standard and tracer.
• Multiple backpack options and 6 types of chest rigs to choose from.
• Various anomalies, artifact nests and entities to explore and fight.
• Single player and 2 player co-op (currently in beta, with plans to expand to four players in a future update).
