Imu's full abilities and powers are currently unknown. However, he could be sure to be quite strong because the Five Elders even submitted and obeyed his orders.

Even though he is known as the highest authority above the Five Elders, there seems to be a limit to his power.

This was because he could not show his authority in public directly and sent the Five Elders as an extension of their actions.

Imu can command the deployment of a very powerful weapon called the Mother Flame. This weapon was created by Dr. Vegapunk and can destroy an island in just a few seconds.

One of his currently known abilities is that he can transform into a giant beast-like creature with human features that can consume fire.

He can also control a tentacle shaped like a sharp arrow which is strong enough to injure Sabo.

For his weapon, he has a sword. Even though it has not been seen being used in a fight, this sword has appeared in an episode of One Piece.
