The Indonesian Dota 2 national team managed to qualify for the Grand Final and finally faced the Philippines team again. Since the Philippine team qualified from the Upper Bracket, they gain the advantage with one match point by default.

Even though the Filipino team has a one point advantage, this does not discourage the Indonesian Dota 2 national team. In fact, they managed to get a point in the second game, bringing the bo5 series to a 1-1 draw.

However, the Philippines replied to the equalizer from the Indonesian national team and won the third game. The Indonesian national team was unable to close the third game and had to lose ahead with a score of 1-2.

The fourth game was won by the Indonesian national team with a hero draft that led to hero units. For example, Womy got the Beastmaster hero by summoning wolves and jungle creeps which troubled Filipino players.

After that, Dreamocel also got the famous Phantom Lancer hero as a hero with many units thanks to the skill that gives illusions.

Because the Filipino team had difficulty fighting heroes with quite a lot of units, the Indonesian national team finally won in just 31 minutes.

The Philippines already got two points from the first game and the third game. For the Indonesian national team, they also got two points from the second game and the fourth game.

This means that the IESF Dota 2 grand final will depend on the fifth game as the decisive game of this drama-filled series.

In this fifth game, the Indonesian Dota 2 national team again uses the hero unit, namely Visage with Womy's familiarity and Lone Druid with Spirit Bear who is named "Kaesang" by Dreamocel.

Meanwhile, the Philippines team returned to use drafts usual namely Tusk as a resistance to the Indonesian draft which always uses Mirana by Whitemon and Ember Spirit by Mikoto.

Unfortunately, the Filipino team got the advantage at the start of the game because the Indonesian national team could not execute a gank from moments that were always not quite right.

However, the advantage of the Philippine team changed in 35 minutes. What happened in that minute? Come on, see the discussion below!

35 minutes is a very crucial moment for the Indonesian Dota 2 national team to turn things around. It all started with the confident Filipino team taking Roshan.

However, the Indonesian Dota 2 national team knows this and does scouting with skill Sacred Arrows from Mirana (Whitemon) and Sleight of Fist from Ember Spirit (Mikoto).

After receiving information and a vision that Roshan was dying, Mikoto bravely directed the Fire Remnant to enter the Rosh Pit and managed to steal Aegis of Immortal.

Stealing Aegis is not an easy thing because it is full of high risks. However, the theft of Aegis can turn the tide of a match. Mikoto managed to do this in the IESF WEC 2022 Grand Final.

After getting Aegis, the Indonesian Dota 2 national team finally got the right moment to gank or pick off a hero from the Philippines team.

They forced to push, but the Philippines team was still able to withstand the pressure and keep the high ground thanks to Sniper until the 40th minute.

At 40 minutes, the Indonesian Dota 2 national team managed to kill Mars and Skywrath Mage in the mid area with the help of Smoke of Deceit or SoD.

With no Mars and Skywrath buying back, the Indonesian Dota 2 national team continued to apply pressure to reach the high ground and killed several Filipino heroes including Silencer.

After that, Marci by Jhocam was forced to fall after diving to kill Snipers. This was not in vain because Sniper was finally able to fall thanks to the deadly combo of Searing Chains, Stone Form, and Sacred Arrow.

Thanks to this combo, Sniper could not move and the Indonesian national team managed to kill the hard carry from the Philippines. Therefore, the Indonesian national team can immediately focus on destroying the objective and Ancient so that they are entitled to become the IESF WEC 2022 Dota 2 champion.

Big congratulations to the Indonesian Dota 2 national team, namely Dreamocel, Mikoto, Womy, Jhocam, Whitemon, Hyde, Aville, and all of its members. Thanks to them, Indonesia has succeeded in proving that this country has extraordinary talent in the realm of Dota 2 esports.
