Krafton has been fighting hackers and scammers since its inception, and while they have definitely taken steps to make it harder for players to avoid using third-party software to give themselves an unfair advantage, it's hard to forget what a big step they were. finally towards implementing anti-cheat methods do for the game.

The player may have no problem running my game at 60+ frames on low settings, but still experiences a bit of hiccup when the player is in a crowded area, or when the player enters a house.

While this is something people can usually ignore, there are also times where it can mean the difference between living a little longer and being taken out for a spin.

The constant influx of new game features is great and much appreciated by the overall player base. But new content tends to be more enjoyable when more players can appreciate it, regardless of their settings.

Those of you who played PUBG during the Early Access period may remember that even though Erangel is the only map, there are still a lot of differences in how the map looks when you get off the plane.

Things can be as insignificant as a sunset, or as an obstacle as the thick fog over an island, forcing players to fight in closer quarters than they would normally like.

Sometimes you'll even be out in a downpour, with the sound of rain and thunder making it harder to distinguish the sound of footsteps approaching your location.

These features were removed from Krafton around the time Miramar was released (possibly due to optimization issues) but they are a great way to mix up gameplay without giving up completely different game modes.

Returning an optimized version of the weather can provide the breath of fresh air the map needs after players visit it for the hundredth time.
