Natlan is one of the most anticipated areas in Genshin Impactt! This place is home to the Pyro element and is filled with passionate characters and interesting stories that will make you curious.
Teyvat does have seven regions, and Natlan is the 6th region to be opened after Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, and Fontaine.

At the time of this writing, this new region has four interesting sub-regions: Basin of Unnumbered Flames, Coatepec Mountain, Tequemecan Valley, and Toyac Springs.

How to Unlock
To open the Natlan region in Genshin Impact is similar to when Fontaine was released. You can access it via a teleport waypoint that will automatically appear near the entrance to the region.
However, to open this waypoint, there are some requirements that you need to fulfill. To open access to this area, you need to fulfill the following:
- Reach Adventure Rank 19
- Complete three Archon Quests in Mondstadt in the Prologue, namely:
- Act I: The Outlander Who Caught the Wind
- Act II: For a Tomorrow Without Tears
- Act III: Song of the Dragon and Freedom
In addition, you can complete the Archon quest. To start the first part of the Archon quest in Natlan, here are the requirements you must meet:
- Reach Adventure Rank level 28
- Complete all Archon quests in Liyue in Chapter I: Farewell, Archaic Lord, which includes:
- Act I: Of the Land Amidst Monoliths
- Act II: Farewell, Archaic Lord
- Act III: A New Star Approaches
Once you have met the requirements to unlock Natlan, you can use the quick start option in the Events tab to immediately begin the Archon Natlan quest.
This Archon Quest, titled Chapter V: Incandescent Ode of Resurrection, provides a deeper look into the Natlan people and their leader, Mavuika.
This quest begins in the Stadium of the Sacred Flame, a location where the Nation of War honors its warriors through a challenging tournament.
Together with local warriors such as Kachina, Kinich, and Mualani, travelers will embark on an adventure in this arena, which will open up the main storyline of Natlan.
