Don't think that Recycle Bin is only available on Windows PCs. You can also find it on your phone just like on your computer. 

All deleted photo files will collect in the trash folder for several 30-60 days. So, if the photos on your cellphone were deleted yesterday, immediately go to the Recycle Bin to restore the photos. 

Look for the Recycle Bin in the gallery application or Google Photos, usually the folder has a trash can logo. You can find deleted photos there.
