How to get rid of stumps in Dreamlight Valley!
Getting rid of tree stumps in Disney Dreamlight Valley is the way you have to do to be able to fully explore a city. Some biomes have their own types of obstacles such as tree stumps, giant rocks, and mushrooms that will prevent you from exploring the entire area.

To remove tree stumps blocking the road, you need an upgraded shovel. You can get your own shovel after completing The Royal Tools quest.
If you have got a shovel, then follow the steps below to upgrade the level:
The first step you have to take before starting to get rid of the tree stump is to make friends with Anna. You need to open the Frozen Realm in Dream Castle. Opening this Realm will cost 4000 Dreamlight. Make sure you have completed all the quests in the Frozen Realm so that Anna can move back to the Valley.
With Anna's return, now you need to increase your friendship with her to at least level 2. You can increase your friendship level by talking to Anna every day or giving her gifts that she likes.
When you reach friendship level 2, Anna will give you her first quest, namely "An Icy Invitation". The main goal of this quest is to find the perfect place in the valley so Elsa can feel comfortable.
However, the perfect spot turned out to be on the other side of the bridge in the Forest of Valor. The road to this place will be blocked by a pile of tree stumps.
To get rid of it, go to Anna's house in the Valley and look for a book that contains information on how to clear tree stumps.
The book you are looking for is located on a table, right on one side of Anna's library. After finding it, take the book to Anna.
Anna will give you the names of the items you have to collect to upgrade the shovel you have. Here is the list:
After getting all the items you need, now you just need to go to the Crafting Station to make a Shovel Blade.
Remove all items from storage, then upgrade your shovel. The upgrade process doesn't take long so you can use it straight away.
After the shovel has been successfully upgraded, then go to the bridge in the Forest of Valor to clear the tree stumps blocking the road.
You will get items in the form of Softwood and Hardwood for every tree stump you clean.
