How to Download PES 2022 on PC, PS5 and Xbox

PES 2022 or now referred to as eFootball 2022 is the successor of the series PES (Pro Evolution Soccer), launched two years ago.

Konami has made it free to play, with optional microtransactions for DLC and other features. PES 2022 was released on October 20, 2021, and the only mode available for now is 1v1 against the computer or online players, with only nine teams to choose from.

This game is available for free on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Android, and iOS. This time we will provide a guide for players who want to download games on their device.

How to Download PES 2022 on PC, PS5 and Xbox

To download or download PES 2022, you must visit the web page where they usually get games, depending on the platform. Here's a download method that's suitable for all devices.

PS5

Visit the PlayStation Store and search for eFootball 2022. Alternatively, you can simply search for the official site on chrome. There are three editions available for installation/purchase. Standard edition for PS4 and PS5 are free to play, while the Premium Player Pack can be purchased.

Xbox

You can head over to the Microsoft Store to get eFootball 2022 for Xbox consoles. Those of you playing on PC can also choose to download it from here if you're not using Steam.

PC (Steam)

Difference between FIFA Mobile and PES 2022

When it comes to soccer video games, two names stand out – FIFA and PES. These two game series are widely known and are always compared to each other. 

FIFA Football mobile is the equivalent of the FIFA experience by EA Sports. Meanwhile, eFootball PES 2022 is a mobile variant of the PES (Pro Evolution Soccer) game made by Konami. 

FIFA has a more usable and better designed UI, whereas PES mobile has a very basic interface.

Even after so many updates, Konami hasn't changed much. FIFA does a better job with in-game menus than PES mobile. 

However, having better menu design doesn't mean that it's a better game, as it has nothing to do with gameplay. If we compare the charts, it seems that eFootball 2022 has the edge. 

The graphics quality is on par with previous PES games (like PES 14) on consoles. FIFA Mobile falls short of console-quality visuals. 

The graphics are a mix of average quality textures with poor quality textures. Also, FIFA Mobile doesn't have a dedicated soundtrack, while PES Mobile does. As a result, eFootball excels in both graphics and sound.
