While Sony allows changing usernames on PSN, it can only be done once for free. If you change your username PlayStation Network and want to change it again, you will be charged.
Please note that this PSN username change may cause known issues with some game listings. Before changing your PSN username, Sony will ask you to back up your existing and potentially important game data.
You can change your PS Network username yourself via a PS3 or PS4 console, or on a PC by visiting the PSN website. For those of you who don't know how to change PSID, see the following review.

Disadvantages of Renaming PSID
There are several risks that we might get if we change the name of the ID PS apart from being charged a fee. Because these changes don't apply to all games, some games may not work.
Old online nicknames may continue to appear to you and other users, but may no longer appear in certain places within the domain (for example, game leaderboards).
ID is updated automatically if out and back in for games same time, or perform other in-game activities after logging in. PlayStation user accounts are sometimes not linked from game accounts.
Some games can restore settings by logging out and then logging back into the game. In some cases, it may be possible to regain normal work by restoring the old ID. Moreover, it is better to save it whenever possible so that it does not change.
Knowing how to change PSID may be quite easy. However, this is indeed paid and there are some risks as the author explained above.
