Mohgwyn Palace is a palace located in the vast wilderness of the Lands Between. This palace is quite unique and different from most areas in the open world universe Elden Rings.

Its uniqueness is almost equivalent to areas included in the Legacy Dungeon category (special areas where Lords reside). But this palace cannot be put into that category.

This is because areas included in the Legacy Dungeon category cannot be explored by riding Torrent. Meanwhile, in this palace, players can still ride the mount that Melina left behind.

It is said that this palace is the residence of "Mohg, Lord of Blood": one of the important kings/bosses (Lords) who holds one of the Great Runes.

Before being finally wiped out by Tarnished, Mohg was building power. He planned to revive the glory of his dynasty which would later be named Mohgwyn.

And in the western part of this area the entrance to the DLC is located. This access is in the form of a cocoon called Cocoon of the Empyrean.

The Site of Grace itself will only appear and be visible on the map if the DLC has been purchased. In the 'vanilla' version (early edition without DLC), Mohg himself is an optional boss.

However, because the location of the DLC door is right on the boss's throne, Mohg must be defeated to enter. And one more thing, you also have to defeat Starscourge Radahn to be able to open access to the DLC.

There is no clarity regarding Radahn's relationship with the Land of Shadow. There are no drops or special items from it that must be used as a kind of key – players are only required to defeat it.

How to Access Mohgwyn Palace

1. Via the teleporter northwest of Consecrated Snowfield (west of Yelough Anix Ruins);
