Mobile Legends Season 32 Update Highlights Patch Note 1.8.66

The month of Ramadan 2024 feels even more special, especially for retainers Land of Dawn because it is accompanied by the Mobile Legends Season 32 update.

Change Season and New Meta

As is widely understood, the change of season is always done every 3 months. And for the start of Season 32 (S32) this time, it will coincide in March 2024.

Even though it doesn't always happen, the change of season is often a momentum for Moonton to implement the new meta in the Land of Dawn. And the same goes for the S32.

So, here are the details of the latest meta changes in patch note 1.8.66 S32 Mobile Legends. Listen carefully so that Vicigers all understand the new system that applies this season!

ML S32 Season Update March 2024 Patch Note 1.8.66

Let's immediately get into the main discussion, namely the important changes in this new season. Since there is not enough space to detail them all, VCGamers has only selected a few that are considered to have an influence on gameplay:

Tire and pick system

What must be discussed first is the new tire and pick system implemented by Moonton as the developer. This is a follow-up to the system that was implemented in the Mythic Tier in Season 31.

If previously tiers below Mythic would only ban 3 heroes, this time there are adjustments depending on the tier. The number of Tier Epic tires remains 3 heroes in each team, while for Legend it is now 4 heroes.

The banning system is also the same as the Mythic Tier. Players no longer ban in turn, but do so simultaneously. That way, a double/triple banning system (banning 2-3 of the same hero) can occur.

Meta ban and pick

Uniquely, the choice of ban and pick heroes in Meta S32 focuses more on heavy tank roamers with great crowd control (CC). Tigreal, Minotaur, and their second counter, Diggie, are regulars for ban and pick.

Meanwhile, as an alternative, there are also Mathilda and (sometimes) Angela who are very scary when they are released. Make sure your team gets these heroes if you want to win easily!

Changes to the hero attack speed system

Moonton admits that their hero attack speed system has been quite problematic. This issue occurs in the form of a reduction in attack speed when the hero used makes an attack (basic or skill) while walking.

For this reason, Moonton as the developer has carried out optimization by eliminating this reduction in attack speed. This has a significant impact, especially on heroes who rely on damage per second (DPS) based mechanics.

Reduced base attack speed on all marksman heroes

Referring to the changes above, it is the marksman DPS hero who gets the most drastic benefits. Because of this, all marksman heroes get a reduction in basic attack speed, so that stability between lanes can be maintained.

Hero buffed and revamped

Next are buff and nerf heroes. Most of the current meta still maintains the existence of core fighters and tanks for more optimal results.

This can be seen from the buffing of several remaining fighter heroes, such as Fredrinn and Argus. Not only that, there is 1 'goa' fighter hero who immediately received a buff and is a strong candidate to become S-Tier: Masha!

Some of the changes that apply include: the existence of an energy bar which is divided into two parts, if Masha's energy bar is full then she can immediately regenerate two layers of blood; Apart from that, the Ultimate Skill will now also experience an instant cool down (CD) reduction when 1 layer of the hero's blood runs out!

Nerf heroes

Meanwhile, the nerf happened to the overpowered (OP) mage heroes who had mastered the Land of Dawn in Season 31. The names of auto banned heroes such as Aurora, Vexana, and Nana got nerfed which made them not as scary as before.

As a result, their presence in the Land of Dawn is no longer something that determines the course of the match.

If these heroes escape and are found by the enemy team, it is not a significant threat.
