5 Heroes Counter Troll Warlord Dota 2

It doesn't feel right if the writer hasn't explained why Troll Warlord is so strong that he needs a Hero Counter. To refresh my memory, the writer will explain why Troll Warlord can be so strong.

Warlord Trolls or Jah'rakal is a Strength attribute hero who can attack melee or ranged. Of the four skills he has, Fervor and Battle Trance are the skills that hurt the most!

Start from Fervor. Fervor is a Troll Warlord passive skill that can provide a bonus Attack Speed of 15/20/25/30 for each attack on the same enemy. Fervor can be stacked up to 12 times.

If the Troll Warlord changes targets, the bonus Attack Speed returns to 0.

Meanwhile, Battle Trance is his Ultimate skill. Troll Warlord will attack nearby enemies (preferably heroes). He will get Lifesteal, Move Speed, and Attack Speed buffs. In fact, he can't die while Battle Trance is active!

The author wanted to include Dazzle with Shallow Grave, but after considering all of Oracle's skills, it turns out that Oracle is better.

Of all the Oracle skills, the author focuses on these two skills: Fate's Edict and False Promises.

Fate's Edict has the ability to disarm targets and give 100% magic resistance for 3.5/4/4.5/5 seconds. This skill is perfect for stopping the Troll Warlord's attacks, especially since the duration of the Battle Trance is 6.5 seconds.

Lastly is False Promise. The skill is similar to Dazzle's Shallow Grave, but more complex. False Promise will accumulate damage and heal received for 7/8.5/10 seconds.

Because the damage is still accumulated when False Promise is active (damage delay), it is better than Dazzle. Meanwhile, all the heal he receives will be amplified by 100%.

So, for example, when your teammates are targeted by Battle Trance, immediately use False Promise. Let your friends attack the Troll Warlord, while you can help your friends from behind using Purifying Flames.

Or, you can buy Aghanim's Shard. With Aghanim's Shard, False Promise also gives an invisible effect when used. That way, you can escape.

Shadow Shamans

Rhasta aka Shadow Shaman is a very good disabler according to the author. To fight the Troll Warlord, he has three skills: Hex, Shackle, and the Mass Serpent Ward.

The first way is to use Winter's Curse on the Troll Warlord when he casts Battle Trance. That way, the Troll Warlord would freeze and be attacked by his own comrades.
