While healing and support aren't everyone's favorite playstyle, Eldegoss Pokemon Unite can be the difference between a big win or a crushing defeat. If you want to turn your enemy team into a bunch of losers, Eldegoss Pokemon Unite is the best choice.

Interestingly, Eldegoss Pokemon Unite benefits from being one of the few support characters in Pokemon Unite, while also being a ranged attacker. This means you can heal your team while avoiding opposing Pokemon and stabbing from afar.

Evolution

Upon starting the game you will start as a novice Gossifleur, but at level 4 you will transform into the recognizable Eldegoss.

Unique Ability

• Cotton Down – Damages opponents and reduces their movement speed for a short time after a Pokemon with this Ability takes a certain amount of damage. When that happens, the Pokemon also restores its HP and movement speed increases for a short time.
• Basic Attack – Becomes an attack booster with every third attack, attaching a small amount of cotton wool to opposing Pokemon. The user's basic attack on an opposing Pokemon with a cotton fluff on it deals increased damage and reduces the opposing Pokemon's movement speed for a short time.

Moves

Levels 1/3

Leafage – Cooldown 4.5s – Hits the target with a leaf, reducing the opponent's Pokemon's movement speed for a short time when hit.

Synthesis – Cooldown 8s – Restores HP or the user and nearby allied Pokemon.

While healing from Synthesis is great, it's even more important to be able to damage and slow opponents, especially early in the game.

Level 4

Pollen Puffs – Cooldown 6s – Throws Pollen Puff, which sticks to Pokemon. Pollen Puff restores HP for allied Pokemon and deals damage to opposing Pokemon.

Upgrades: If Pollen Puff attaches to an opposing Pokemon, it also deals damage over time. If Pollen Puff attaches to an allied Pokemon, it also reduces the damage they take.

Leaf Tornadoes – Cooldown 9s – Attacks with a tornado of sharp leaves, leaving a path behind which increases movement speed of allied Pokemon for a short time.

Upgrades: Also reduces the opposing Pokemon's accuracy for a short time when this move hits.

Pollen Puff is actually the best choice here as it gives you potential AOE healing and damage. In addition, it also gives allied Pokemon more defense.

Level 6

CottonGuard – 7s Cooldown – Protects the user and nearby allied Pokemon with cotton. Cotton absorbs damage, and when the move ends, cotton restores some HP.

Upgrades: Increases the user's movement speed when using this move.

Cotton Spore – 10s Cooldown – Gathers spores around the user, increasing the user's movement speed while this move is in effect. The spores explode after a while, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon in the area of effect, throwing them, and reducing their movement speed for a short time.

Upgrades: Also reduces the damage the user takes when using this move.

Cotton Guard is the best move for Eldegoss at this stage as it provides increased Defense, increased movement speed, and healing.

Level 9

Unite Move – Cotton Cloud Crash – Makes the user soar into the air and becomes invincible, if used again, the user will pound the ground, attack and push opponent Pokemon and restore HP to allied Pokemon in the area of effect.

Best Eldegoss Items

When playing as Eldegoss, this is a recommended Possession item for better results.

Hold Items

• Exp. Share – Earn EXP passively every second when you have the lowest level in your team. However, you do lose EXP which you usually gain when helping teammates against wild Pokemon.
• Shell Bell – Special attack heals 45 HP, plus Sp percentage. Atk. We
• Buddy Barrier – When using Unite Move, protect yourself and your closest teammates with the lowest HP.

All of these items help enhance Eldegoss Pokemon Unite's main objective, to keep your teammates alive. The EXP split is very important because it allows you to play safer while helping out your team whenever possible.

Battle Items

Poison is the optimal choice for Eldegoss Pokemon Unite, considering that you will be a member of the weaker team. Hence, potions will help you stay in the mix at all times.

Eldegoss Pokemon Unite Strategy

• The name of the game for Eldegoss is 'spam your skills', so you guys should throw in as many heals as possible to give the team an edge. However, when you can make sure that you poke and prod the enemy team.
• All of your skills should be AOE base, so it's always going where the action is. Obviously, Eldegoss is most effective when there are multiple targets.
• If you can, try to score a few goals here and there during the early game. But never overdo it, you will likely be chased by a scythe-wielding Absol user.
