How to Complete The High Keep Quest

To complete the quest The High Keep, you need to climb the castle wall in order to look for evidence to accuse Theophilus Harlow in Hogwarts Legacy.

There are three spells that will be used in this quest, namely Depulso, Acccio, Revelio and Wingardium Leviosa. The following is a guide to completing The High Keep quest.

Guide to Climbing the Castle Wall to the Gatehouse in Hogwarts Legacy

The first step for this quest is to start climbing from the right end of the castle wall. You will find a wooden platform leaning against the castle wall.

Next, walk to the left until you meet a gate that has a mechanism behind it.

Use the Depulso spell on the mechanism to open the gate. Once the gate opens, use the Accio or Wingardium Leviosa spell to move the chest.

You will find another wall to climb. Place the crate in front of it then jump onto the crate to climb the next wall.

Use a Depulso spell or similar to destroy the wooden barricade blocking the next entrance.

If you crawl into it, you will find another wooden crate blocking the way.

This wooden coffin can be moved but not by using spells, because the spells in Hogwarts Legacy cannot be used in narrow places like this.

Go around to the back of the building and you will find a window on the other side, where a wooden chest will be visible.

Use the Accio spell from the window to pull the chest out of the way it crawled from. After moving it, return to the previous place to enter the Gatehouse.

Guide at Gatehouse

After entering the Gatehouse area, you now need to open the locked gate. To open it, use the Revelio spell.

With this spell, you will see a mechanism located near the gate and in the middle above it.

Next, use the Depulso spell on the mechanism to turn the gear so the gate opens. The gate will open temporarily but then immediately close again.

To slow down the closing of the gate, use the Arresto Momento spell and use Accio on the visible hooks on the barricade. This will open the gate completely.

If you have difficulty aiming the spell, use the aim button to aim the spell more accurately.

Next, turn left and climb the wooden structure to the top. From here continue straight until you meet a wooden chest. Use the Wingardium Leviosa spell to knock it out.

Go down the stairs to where the wooden chest is. Again use Wingardium Leviosa to move it towards the rock structure and Levioso to make it float in the air.

Climb onto the chest to reach the next wall, prepare spells to fight because there will be a group of enemies that will block you.

Here you also have to complete an Alohomora puzzle. After that, you will find a pair of stairs leading upwards.

Climb the stairs to get to the top of the fort. You will find a wooden barricade, destroy the barricade with Depulso.

Behind the barricade, you will find a room containing many useful items. Take them all before climbing to the last ladder.

When you climb the last ladder, a cut scene will play. You will then unlock the Highwing and fly with it.

The High Keep Quest Rewards

Just like other quests in Hogwarts Legacy, completing The High Keep quest will give you several prizes. The following are the prizes you will get:

• Get a white hippogryph named Highwing which can be kept in the Vivarium
• Get a second hippogryph named Caligo which will only be given to buyers during the game pre-order period
• Obtain a thestral named Sepulchria which is given to buyers of the Deluxe edition of the game and the DLC Arts Pack
• Expanded Beast Inventory by 15 slots
