GTA 5 Online Treasure Hunt Instructions

Doing a treasure hunt in GTA 5 will get you a small bag containing money worth $250,000.

Go on a treasure hunt at GTA 5 Online will give you the opportunity to explore many places you have never visited before in this game.

In this article we will show you the treasure hunting locations in GTA 5 Online.

To start a treasure hunt in GTA 5, you must be part of an online session to be able to receive an email showing randomly marked locations.

Del Perro Pier

You can find the first clue on one of the pillars under Del Perro Pier. It is located in the middle of the pillar. The instructions here are in the form of a piece of paper attached to the pillar.

Cassidy Creek (Mount Josiah)

You need a helicopter or plane to find these clues more easily. This clue is on a smaller part of Mount Josiah and is attached to a rock.

Vinewood Hills

Located in the heart of Vinewood Hills on a road near the Galileo Observatory. You must find the yellow Truck Stand which displays the beautiful view of Baytree Canyon View. There you will find the instructions.

Pacific Bluffs Graveyard

The next clue is in the grave on the west side. There was a large grave sticking out of the ground. 

You will find clues after passing through a small path on the right side of the cemetery.

Tongva Hills

Between two vineyards in Tongva Hills, you will find a clue, precisely located under a bridge with a river flowing beneath it. The clue is on a rock just below the bridge.

San Chianski Mountain Range

Nestled in the mountains on the ocean side, this clue is located on a collection of large rocks next to the dock and boathouse. This clue will be visible on the wooden posts between the rocks.

Cassidy Creek

This clue was found along the banks of Cassidy Creek, right near Mount Josiah. You can find the clue in a tree along the river.

Tataviam Mountains

On the outskirts of mountains and roads close to the sea there will be clues located directly underground with several trees above them. 

You can find this clue attached to a large rock that supports the ground with trees on it.

Alamo Sea

On the south side of the Alamo Sea in Sandy Shores, there is a strip of land that juts out into the water. You can find the clue at the end of this land attached to the rock right after the piece of concrete that slopes upwards.

Grand Senora Desert

Located southwest of the runway in a desert, you can find a clue on the outer door of the underground bunker.

In the northern part of the mountains, you can find a clue located at the top of the mountain attached to a cross on the ground. 

You can use a helicopter or other air vehicle to make it easier to find these clues.

Los Santos Golf Club

From the Golf Club, head to the water formation in the center on the map. There you can find a clue on the white bridge attached to the entrance pillar.

Pacific Ocean

To the northwest of Los Santos International, there is a peninsula. You can find clues on this peninsula. The clue will be located on the beach attached to the bottom of a rock.

Paleto Bay

On the north side of Paleto Bay, you can find a clue in the middle of the broken bridge on the lower beach, outside the shopping center.

This clue can be found directly in the area of the bridge fracture attached to the wooden pillar.

Great Chapparal

Located in the middle of a winding section of road in Great Chapparal. Go up the hill to a large rock on the side of the cliff, then stop on the road below. 

Then, head off the road into a section of trees and look for a clue attached to a tall wooden pole sticking out of the ground.

On the east side of Sandy Shores, you have to pass the main highway and the alien playground. At the top of the mountain overlooking the playground, you can find a blue clue.

Chiliad Mount

To find the clues here, you will need an air vehicle. You can find the clue in the center of Chiliad, north of the cable car area, and look for it on the brown board.

Two Hoots Falls

In Tonga Hills, you can pass through rivers and vineyards to find the waterfall, the clue is at the Two Hoots Falls sign in the middle of the small road.

Shandy Shores #2

In the middle of Sandy Shores, you can find the clue. The clue is on the rocks to the west that are attached to the large rock on the bottom side.

After finding these two clues, you will later get a small bag containing the Double-Action Revolver from Red Dead Redemption II and money worth $250,000.
