PMPL ID Season 3 Day 1 Grand Final

The PMPL ID Season 3 Grand Final finally started the Grand Final round. The results of the grand final on day 1 were surprising, there was GD Gids who topped the standings without winning a WWCD.

The season 3 grand final is held in three days and there are 6 matches per day. Each team has the same chance because the point count starts again from zero.

The first day of the grand final was full of interesting surprises. Teams that had struggled in the regular season actually came back to perform well in the grand final.

GD Gids performed very consistently. Even though they didn't win WWCD, they almost always managed to penetrate the late game and get maximum placement points.

The 6 WWCD on the first day were won by different teams. Here are the full results!

Match 1 – Sanhok: Geek Fam

Match 2 – Erangel: Onic Esports

Match 3 – Miramar: Skylightz Gaming

Match 4 – Sanhok: Bonafide Esports

Match5 – Miramar: Boom Esports

Match 6 – Erangel: Bigetron Red Aliens

Geek Fam performed very well in the opening match of Sanhok. Their formation was still intact with four players until the last circle, getting lots of kills from third-party action and finally won WWCD.

Match 2 belonged to Onic Esports who performed amazingly at Erangel. They defeated four Victim players in the final circle to win WWCD.

In match 3, there was an exciting battle between GD Gids and Skylightz Gaming (SG) at Miramar. Unexpectedly, Pinky, who was the last SG player, was actually able to finish off three GD players and win the WWCD.

The second Sanhok in match 4 runs more evenly with a relatively safe circle. Bonafide benefited from a larger number of players to beat RRQ in the last circle.

Match 5, the second Miramar, Boom won the duel with BTR RA and GD Gids in the last circle. Boom won on high ground to defeat GD Gids.

The last match of the first day was exciting. BTR RA finally won the first WWCD by defeating GD Gids who actually played well.

Provisional standings

The overall rankings for day 1 of the PMPL ID Season 3 grand final show that GD Gids cannot be underestimated.

Nicil et al. did not win WWCD, but managed to top the standings with a total of 85 points from 6 matches.
