Ashito Aoi is the main character of the anime Ao Ashi. He is a first year high school student and is a member of the Tokyo City Esperion FC soccer club.

Since childhood, he and his older brother, Shun, were raised alone by their mother, Noriko, in Ehime. Even though they don't have enough, both of them live a happy life.
