Nvidia AI-powered NPCs engine debuted in Mecha BREAK. The technology behind these AI NPCs is Nvidia’s Avatar Cloud Engine (ACE) for gaming, which was unveiled at COMPUTEX 2023.

ACE is a special AI model that allows developers to create intelligent NPCs that can interact with players naturally.

What's even more interesting about this game demo is that the AI processing is done locally if you're using any type of RTX GPU.

The ACE model used in this game uses the Nvidia Minitron 4B model, which only requires 2GB of VRAM. The 4B model is based on the Nemotron, which requires four A100 GPUs.

This makes the Minitron 4B very lightweight compared to the original model, which likely required at least 160GB of VRAM.

This makes this game very interesting to look forward to in 2025. Are you one of those who are looking forward to the release of this game?
