Starconch is a local ingredient in Liyue. It looks like a round blue shell with some light colored lines that only appear on sandy beaches. This shell glistens when you approach it.

These empty shells are carried ashore by the tides. You can hear the call of the sea and the wind when you put the shell close to your ear. And players need this material to ride two Hydro characters in Liyue.

List of Genshin Impact Starconch Locations

There are many Starconch locations in Genshin Impact Liyue where you can pick up dozens of shells per trip. But sometimes, these shells also appear separately in the wild. Here are the three main locations in Liyue players can find these materials.

Yaoguang Shoal

The Yoaguang Shoal is the second area with the most abundance of Starconches. Players simply take a walk on the beach or travel through the waypoints to collect them. It should be noted that several Starconches are also located on the edge of Dragonspine.

Yaoguang Shoal has a beautiful long sandy beach east of Liyue. You can start from the teleportation waypoint northwest of this herd. It's near the broken bridge.

You may face several enemies in this Starconch farming route, such as Whooper Flower, Electro Witch Ring Fatui, Agent Fatui Pyro and so on. You can engage in combat or dodge quickly with Ayaka and Mona's special movement abilities.

Guili Plains

The beautiful long sandy beach in southeast Guili Plainsi is also one of the best places to collect Starconches.

From Yaoguang Shoal, head south or use the teleport waypoint at the ruins on the Guili Plains which are close enough to the sea to start your farming journey. There are 19 items.

The last prominent agricultural location for the Starconches is the Guili Plains. Players could reach the coast of the region from Yaoguang Shaol, or directly teleport to the Abandoned Ruins Domain.

Genshin Impact players can also purchase Starconch from Toko Bolai under the northern docks in Liyue. Bolai has a beautiful shop with lots of items that Travelers can purchase, such as:

Each Starconch costs the player 240 Mora. The store will be updated every three days. You can buy some from him if you need more Starconch to upgrade your character.

Many newbies don't know how to find this shop. From the teleportation walkway point in North Liyue Harbor town, you can slide onto the pier and continue sliding down towards several small boats.
