Most of Hu Tao's materials were obtained from enemies except for Silk Flowers and the Diligence set talent book.
You can get the Diligence Set from farming in the Taishan Mansion domain every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. The following are bosses or farming locations for Hu Tao materials:
Agnidus Agate
Some World Bosses can provide material drops in the form of Agnidus Agate including Silver, Chunk, Fragment, and Gemstone.
You can get it from 3 bosses for now, namely: Pyro Regisvine and Pyro Hypostasis.
You can get Agnidus Agate from Primordial Geovishap with a note that the enemy is using the Pyro element which is marked by the enemy's body turning red.
The Pyro Regisvine location is in Liyue, on Cuijue Slope to be precise. You can teleport using the eastern Teleport Waypoint near Cuijue Slope and Luhua Pool.
Run south and plunge down into the cave. There, you can fight Pyro Regisvine.
You can find Pyro Hypostasis on Kannazuka Island, Inazuma region. To reach this boss, you can teleport to Kannazuka Island (west of Kujou Encampment). Walk north to the Teleport Waypoint until you find a boss.
You can also get Agnidus Agate drops from other bosses, namely Algorithm of Semi-Intransient Matrix of Overseer Network, Iniquitous Baptist, and Primo Geovishap. However, the drop rate of this enemy is smaller than the previous 2 enemies.
Weekly bosses who also drop Agnidus Agate are: Azdaha, Andirus, and Signora.
Juvenile Jade
You can get Juvenile Jade farming materials from Primo Geovishap. This enemy is a world boss type and also requires 40 resin for each farming.
The way to reach this enemy there are 2 closest routes that you can follow. First, you can go through Tianqu Valley.

The second path you can take is to fly through the Teleport Waypoint south of Qingyun Peak.
Teleport to the Teleport Waypoint and climb onto the rock. Fly south until you find a path and stairs to the Primo Geovishap area.
Whopperflower (Nectar, Shimmering, and Energy)
As the name implies, you can get Whopperflower Nectar (including Shimmering Nectar and Energy Nectar) from Whopperflower enemies.
This flower-shaped enemy has various elements and the higher the level of the enemy or world, the more and rare the drop is given.
Whopperflower Nectar will be given by level 1+ enemies, Shimmering Nectar at level 40+, and Energy Nectar at +60 level.
The distribution of the Whopperflower is quite wide. Usually, Whopperflower will be easy to find in areas close to Regisivine (Pyro, Electro, Cryo).
But this enemy can also camouflage into plants, especially Sweet Flower and Mint.
You can see how to identify a plant, which is Whopperflower's camouflage, from the shape of the plant, there is no shine and there is a dialogue mode that says "Sweet Flower" or "Mint".

Childe will give 3 different material drops. The drop that you need for Hu Tao is a drop that has a shape like a piece or a broken weapon.
Silk Flowers
Silk Flower is a material that, according to the author, is difficult for you to farm. In one Genshin Impact world, there are only 14 of these materials.
You can only find Silk Flowers near the entrance of Wangshu Inn and the top of the Teleport Waypoint north of Liyue Harbor.
To get around the small amount of materials, you can farm Silk Flowers 2-3 days after you take or request these materials from World friends.
