GT 8 Release Date

Whereas, previously the company took four or five years to launch a new game. If we consider the launch of the GT Sport, it is quite long.

GT 8 is a racing game available for PlayStation PCs. This game was developed by Sony Corporation and published by Polyphony Digital. 

So based on that, we can expect to see GT 8 appear as early as 2026 or 2027. This is just speculation based on the developer's track record with previous game releases. We have no official information or news regarding this.

Gran Turismo Racing Game Gameplay

In the game, you can play several difficulty levels, Easy and Normal. Easy for new players at Easy level and overwhelmed at Normal speed. 

Normal is a decent mode for those of you who are used to playing racing games. Fast mode will make your opponent drive faster than usual to give the game a little extra kick.

You have to complete certain checkpoints to increase your game time, and the further you go, you can unlock more music tracks. 

This is a great way to introduce players to the game. But the game's main mode is World Mode, a map with various hubs to complete jobs. In particular, cafes take players to different modes and areas.

The Café is where players unlock the various missions they complete in World Mode. Typically, this involves unlocking 3 cars, completing a specific track, or perhaps unlocking one of the race car licenses.

By completing several missions, you will get a new track, or it could be a Roulette Ticket. Every car in this game is immaculate, and every track is perfect, down to the smallest detail.

Gran Turismo 8 in the Working Stages 

Maybe it won't take a decade to wait for Gran Turismo 8 to be released like it did with Gran Turismo 7.

Because based on information quoted from pcgame.de developer Polyphony Digital is currently implementing this game. Gran Turismo producer Kazumori Yamauchi revealed this.

Unfortunately, in an interview session with the Japanese magazine Game Watch, Yamauchi was reluctant to reveal the updates that would be in this game later.

While waiting for the launch of Gran Turismo 8, fans can enjoy the updates in Gran Turismo 7.

Polyphony Digital confirmed that they have perfected Gran Turismo 7 in gaming with VR so that the gaming experience on Sony's PSVR2 can be better.

Playing Platform and Gran Turismo 8 Feature Speculation 

The presence of GT8 as a PlayStation 5 exclusive game has been confirmed by the developer. However, the question remains what features might be available if GT8 comes to PS5?

Quoting from 9mater.com, it is possible that the GT8 will integrate with AI Sonu, namely Sophy. The integration of the GT8 game with Sony's AI will open up more challenging racing opportunities even though players are fighting against the computer.

Because GT8 will be a PlayStation 5 exclusive game, it is likely that the developer will not include a cross generation feature.

However, cross-platform features may still exist. Because several years after the console version of the game was released, the developer will also present a PC version.

Apart from that, there is a possibility that the GT8 will be available in a VR version which is much better than the GT7. The ray tracing technology on PS5 displays more realistic lighting and shadow quality.

When the technology is present in the VR version and users access it using PS VR2. Users can feel the road texture better, even the brake pedal.
