Samsung Galaxy A42 5G brief specifications

  • Design and screen

The Samsung Galaxy A42 5G measures 164.4 x 75.9 x 8.6mm, weighs 193g, and has a 6.6-inch screen. Beating the screen size of the Galaxy A32 and Galaxy A52 which is not up to 6.5 inches.

The Super AMOLED screen measures 720 x 1600 pixels HD+ with 266 pixels per inch and a refresh rate of 60Hz. This cellphone also has a fingerprint under display, with a notch at the top and a thick bezel below the screen.

For comparison, the Galaxy A32 5G has the same resolution but with an LCD screen panel without a fingerprint under display, while the Galaxy A52 5G has Full HD+ resolution and a better refresh rate of 120Hz.

The Galaxy A42 5G is available in Prism Dot Black, Prism Dot Gray and Prism Dot White colors. Whatever color you choose, the plastic backdoor of the phone has a holographic pattern, multi-shaded quite a unique shine.
