Fortnitemares 2022 Leak: New Skin And Zombies!

The Fortnitemares 2022 event will be releasing on Tuesday, October 18th, and many players can't wait for it to finally come out. 

On Friday, October 14, Epic Games revealed some of the upcoming content that will be rolling out for the event. This includes two special skins and a zombie animal.

Two new skins will prepare players for Fortnitemares 2022, and it seems that the developer will introduce new gameplay features as well.

Annual event Fortnite Halloween will bring a lot to the popular video game, which is why many players are so excited about this one.

The Fortnitemares 2022 Event Presents Many New Skins

Back in March, Epic Games held what it called the Concept Royale. This is a friendly competition between competing artists for a $2,500 cash prize and the chance to display the clothing they create in-game.

Dreo and Kitsu ended up winning the contest and their outfits will be added to the game just before the Fortnitemares 2022 event. Kitsu designed Undying Sorrow, which can be seen in the image above. This item looks amazing and is sure to go with the Halloween theme.

Meanwhile, Dreo has a different idea and designed the Sinister Glare outfit, which is also unique and has its own charm.

Both outfits leaked after the release of the v22.10 update, which came out last Tuesday, October 4, 2022. Since then, players have been expecting these cosmetic items to hit the Item Shop, but the wait is almost over.

Epic Games revealed that Sinister Glare and Udying Sorrow were released on Saturday, October 15th, 2022. These skins will be available just before the Fortnitemares 2022 event comes out, which is great news for everyone who has been waiting for it.

The developer will also be releasing many other skins during the Fortnite Halloween event. There has been talk of a collaboration with Dead by Daylight, so it's likely that some of the most popular characters from survival games will be coming to Fortnite.

Game Features

Promotional images for the two upcoming skins show a zombified chicken, meaning undead creatures will be a new feature during the Fortnitemares 2022 event. Even before Chapter 3 Season 4 was released, there were leaks regarding zombified animals, and that seems accurate.

Epic Games will also release a new boss during Fortnitemares 2022. According to leaks, the boss will spawn animals and will drop Mythic weapons when eliminated.

Subsequently, the entity would drop the Pumpkin Launcher, which is one of the most beloved weapons in Fortnite Battle Royale history.

About Fortnitemares 2022

Fortnitemares will go live on October 18, 2022 for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4. The spooky season has arrived, and Epic Games is ready to celebrate as they have so routinely done in the past. This island will be much scarier.

This usually requires a slight change in gameplay and a new character on the island. There may even be a new threat emerging. The Herald is the only boss on the island right now, but that could change soon.

Prior to the release of Fortnitemares, players would see Halloween and themed skins return to the Item Shop. Shadow Midas and other spooky skins have passed this time. Players can expect that to continue through the event and the end of the month.

New Halloween skins will almost certainly be out during that time too. No one knows what it is, but Epic Games rarely misses an opportunity. There may be scary versions of existing skins or new nightmare fuel.

However, the two scary skins that have been revealed are Concept Royale winners. Undying Sorrow (left) and Sinister Glare (right) will be joining the game in the near future. Since they are Halloween themed, one can expect them to come during Fortnitemares.

While this isn't technically a Halloween or Fortnitemares 2022 skin, Black Adam debuted right in the middle of the event. According to HYPEX, it will hit the Item Shop on October 20th.
