Final Fantasy XVI is Complete, Ready to be Released this June

Square Enix as the developer of the Final Fantasy game announced that Final Fantasy XVI has been completed and will be released according to the original plan.

The FFXVI game is one of the games affected by COVID-19, which disrupts the development process.

However, after the COVID-19 issue which had begun to subside, the development of this game was resumed and at the end of March FFXVI was officially announced when it had been completed.

Final Fantasy XVI Completed

Through their Twitter account, Square Enix said that they have completed the process of making the FFXVI game, and it is ready to be released on the 22nd or 23rd of June.

Later this FFXVI game will be released exclusively only on the PS 5 console. So it's only natural that Square Enix can finish this game in a relatively short amount of time. 

This is because the FFXVI game only needs to optimize on one platform, namely PS5. 

In addition, this Final Fantasy game will be exclusive to PS4 for six months. And after six months, the FFXVI game will be released en masse to other platforms.

Gameplay in Final Fantasy XVI

The producer of FFXVI, namely Naoki Yoshida, has just presented details and footage of some of the gameplay at the PAX East event. 

Apart from that, Square Enix also explained a lot about the game's transition from a turn-based combat system to a real-time combat system in FFXVI.

With many presentations of the latest Final Fantasy gameplay to the public, it is increasingly clear that this game is very mature and is just waiting for the release date.

Synopsis of Final Fantasy XVI

This FFXVI game will later take the background of a location named Valisthea. Where Valisthea is divided into six regions, with each region having an Eikon.

In FFXVI's story, the main protagonist is Clive Rosefield. He is equipped with extraordinary martial power. Clive Rosefield's mission is to look after and protect his younger brother, Joshua Rosefield.

The storyline itself will be darker than the previous series, where Clive will be involved in a dangerous conflict filled with a sense of revenge.

Therefore, the rating for this game is 18+. Because this game displays a lot of fight scenes that produce blood.
